As long as I have been frequent in this location I can’t believe I haven’t given a review. I absolutely adore this little place. They have a nice little food menu, people come for the shepherd’s pie often. So definitely try that out! Very nice bartending staff, pool table in the back very nice atmosphere. They have added lots of circulation fans so it’s cooler than one might think in their outside area as of now. They hold pool tournaments every Tuesday. Not just nice bartending stuff, kind kitchen staff, and the owner is very nice as well! Absolutely recommend to stop in here.

Nice local pub/bar but food was “meh”, at least the lunch was that we three had there last Friday. Shepherd’s pie was way too salty (and I usually add salt to my meals) to finish more than a few bites. The fish of the fish and chips had an almost rock hard crust. The medium rare burger was medium well done. But the beer was cheap and cold and ambiance nice. We did notice the others there weren’t eating.

Ordered a 10 piece wing.. came with 8.. something that I normally would not complain about but the menu price said $12.00… ended up being $16.00.. I understand being busy but anyone can count to 10.

Today we visited The Rock Irish Pub, a newcomer to the downtown Lake Worth scene and we were pleasantly surprised. Generally with any new place you can expect a certain learning curve that naturally happens in the building stages but these guys already have it nailed. Morgan the bartender was refreshingly honest with her menu recommendations rather than the canned response of “It’s all good”. She told us to try the roast beef sliders and teriyaki chicken sandwich which we both thouroughly enjoyed. They have plenty of TV’s, touchtunes and live music to keep the energy up for everyone. One of the owners, Brian, visited us several times to make sure we were having a perfect time. If you are a whiskey fan they have 30+ types that can take down even the toughest Irishman. Bring your friends and enjoy The Rock, downtown Lake Worth’s newest landmark.

Phenomenal food and phenomenal service. I had the Turkey special with mashed potatoes and stuffing with gravy and it was out of this world! The gravy was so perfectly seasoned I didn’t even need to add any salt or pepper. Can’t wait to go back on Sunday to try the bangers and mash because that will be the deciding factor for me.
