Food was good
Countryside fried steak tasted like it was from the freezer at the grocery store, definitely didn’t taste homemade
Chicken liver was good , highest price we’ve paid for that small of a portion
Grannies definitely has it beat
Service was not bad, just felt rushed out, we were going to order dessert, but she brought us the check
Soooooo

We recently moved to the area and are so glad we found Cottage Cafe! We’ve been for both breakfast and lunch, and on both occasions, the experience was absolutely outstanding.
The food was excellent every time—fresh, well-prepared, and delicious.
The service was truly outstanding! The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming, which makes for a great atmosphere.
We also noticed the place is very clean, and we loved the layout and the decorations.
Highly recommend stopping by!

I ordered to-go from the Cottage Cafe today on a cloudy Sunday morning. The place was packed when we got there around 12pm. Our food took about 30 minutes to come out – we ordered the Blueberry lemon French toast, the egg and bacon croissant with home fries, and the omelette with toast and hash browns. Everything was great and had very good flavor (aside from the home fries, the potatoes weren’t crunchy / were very soft and greasy). Service was very friendly.

I had a fish cod fish basket and fries. Grand kids had shrimp and fries. All was good. Plenty of room for dining. Very cozy atmosphere. Server was very helpful during the order process. Plenty of parking and very convenient handicapped parking available. Easy access off main drag.

Went on Mother’s Day for breakfast for the first time. Food was delicious, everything we had couldn’t have been better. They gave out little vases of flowers to all the Moms.

Stopped here on our way from Tampa to New Orleans, and we couldn’t make better choice. Amazing local place with smiled staff and great atmosphere. Food was great and coffee much better in all coffee chains out there. And we also had the best French fries so far. Perfection 🙂

Went there recently with family at breakfast time. I was disappointed to see that the menu has changed. I think my husband was the only one who liked his breakfast. My omelet was bland and my home fries were under cooked plus I didn’t feel like asking for them to be fixed because we waited for our food long enough and I was hungry. My mom got the so called quiche and it was pretty bad. I tried to bite of it and it was dry and rock hard as a bone. It gave me the impression that it was made 2 days before and then reheated.

Food was good. We were one of two tables and it took a grueling 50 minutes to see out food. Server was nice. Update, tried it again. Service was great and much faster. Breakfast was good

Cute little country style restaurant in Old Town, FL. Servers are very friendly and attentive. I had the Santa Fe Chicken Salad it has black beans, roasted corn, tortilla chips, cheese, grilled chicken, and topped with Mexi Ranch Dressing. The salad was enormous and delicious. Hubby had the daily special, which was a meatball sub, fries, and drink included. The sub had 4 gigantic meatballs on it topped with cheese. Hubby enjoyed it immensely.
