we had a light lunch on the patio overlooking the marina. Service was friendly and relaxed. We liked the heirloom tomato and melon salad, which was refreshing. the Tuscan chicken was not what I expected (it’s fried) but it tasted good. It was served on a bed of ricotta cheese and topped with pesto. We also tried the brunch item asparagus hash which was not the strongest dish of the three. overall, we liked this place. we will come back again to try other things and cocktails on the menu.

Absolutely phenomenal Indian food. The tandoori chicken smelled so good as it hit the table still sizzling. We also had a lamb dish that our server recommended, seasoned perfectly and the lamb melted in your mouth. The naan bread was the best I’ve ever had. Even the basmati rice was delicious. You must absolutely try this place! Our server was lovely and very gracious. The prices are very reasonable too.

From the atmosphere to the staff all the way down to the food the river Grill offered a Mother’s Day prefix menu special. It was a little crowded and a very energetic atmosphere. what I can say is that it all worked well together from the waiter staff to the greeter staff to the ownership everyone worked on ensuring you had a great meal and a great time and both as far as I am concerned, were accomplished at a reasonable price I am very curious as to what a regular meal would be like not a special definitely coming back here with my wife we enjoyed our food and our meal really had a great time. She had chicken carbonara. I had the lobster ravioli and we had the shrimp cocktail overall a very interesting and exciting and tasteful meal, the lobster ravioli sauce was a little bit more peppery than I would’ve liked the overall taste was great. The wait staff checked in on us constantly. and the cool part when we were done, we were able to walk along the promenade and enjoy a beautiful view. Definitely recommend you come out and check out the River Grill.

I went for my birthday, we wanted to try the new Indian menu & it did not disappoint!! The samosas were so good as were the sauces that came with them, and my chicken biryani was delicious. Such a big portion I was able to bring some home. And they sang happy birthday to me!!! Thank you guys!

Delicious dinner with a view and relaxing ambiance we started with stuffed mushrooms I loved followed by pretty generous amount of Caesar salad that came with our paella it was out of this town! Delicious will totally recommend and repeat again we finished up with cheesecake One word outstanding!!! Must try

My roommate and her friend invited me out for dinner and we decided to go to the waterfront and eat at the River grill. The staff was fantastic our waiter was very helpful in helping us make great food choices for our meal. The chicken wings were very good I was expecting it to be very greasy or oily and it was not at all it felt almost light. The Filet Mignon was excellent, I was surprised because the presentation was kinda meh but the food was great melted in my mouth and was very tasty. The cheesecake was absolutely amazing all the way around it was just so so good. The ambiance was fine we were on the enclosed eating area and we all had a great time

Absolutely fantastic. Great weather for sitting on the patio. Killer service. Our server Gianna used her knowledge and helped when debating between items on the menu. Her recommendations were SPOT ON. Went with the Lamb Salad -lamb cooked to perfection-and the Duck special-cooked to perfection. We also got an appetizer of calamari that was devoured before we even thought to take a photo. To top the fantastic meal off, I went with the Lemon Raspberry Torte *chefs kiss*
It’s not your everyday dining joint that could become an expensive habit. A habit I would definitely do if i lived in the area. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Newburgh

Omg, this hidden little gem has a menu with plenty of wonderful and delicious dishes to choose from! The ambiance light and comfortable and you can see the Hudson River from anywhere in the restaurant. I will definitely visit this establishment again!❤️

Food was ok and portion size was decent but service was sub par. First, we had our puppy with us so we had to sit outside, which was fine. But even though there were ample seating facing the water, we were told that we had to sit on the side of the patio. Then the waiter came to take our order and my boyfriend ordered a soda and I settled for water. The soda came right away but my water actually never came even though we asked for it again when our waiter came to take our orders. Then finally the busboy noticed that we had no water while he’s making his water refill rounds so he was kind enough to get us some water. Food came out very slow and our bread basket actually came out with our appetizers. And the girl (the hostess) who gave use the basket just dropped it own without much of any eye contact or smile. We didn’t even have small plates with which to eat the bread. Afterwards the busboy was the one who gave us the olive oil with balsamic vinegar for dipping. Then when we opened our utensils, both of our knives had very obvious food stains on it. How can someone even wrap them in a napkin like that?! Seriously wonder how clean the rest of the plates and cups are. Then when I asked to switch, our waiter didn’t even apologize for the food stains but just went of course let me switch it for u, like it was just a normal thing. Really?

All in all, food was decent but won’t go back since the service was seriously lacking and cleanliness seemed not great either. All other waiters and waitresses and the hostess were busy (I guess) taking care of tables facing the river valley. There was one table on the side that seems to know the owner of the restaurant and multiple ppl came out to ask how everything was, do they want dessert etc. also cleared their table as appetizers etc was finish. Then after that table left, nobody came out. The restaurant weren’t even that busy. Outside seating was definitely not full and waitresses were just standing around chatting
