George, the owner makes wonderful suggestions for food and wine pairings. Delicious appetizers, entrees and dessert. Really enjoyed everything from the escargot through the homemade caramel

Very fresh ingredients, beautiful setting, perfectly prepared lunch. Nice wine selection and the house red is an excellent choice. I’m looking forward to going back for dinner. Our server was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. They seem to have a regular clientele there, which says a lot.

Makes me feel like I’m in France. People may call their restaurant “French”, but Georges and Claudie are actually French. Their food is as authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is laid back. Their love of music and art lead to some great events throughout the year. If you’re longing for France, but don’t want to deal with jet lag, or If you’ve never been to France, but would like to have a taste of it, this is where you go.

Authentic French experience. Lovely and homey atmosphere, as the restaurant does reside in an old home. As soon as you walk in the door and are greeted by, in this case our server George, you can feel the vibe. Bright enough to see everything but not a lot of artificial light, at least in the daytime. George was particularly friendly and was happy to make recommendations or explain any dish. The menu is large but not overwhelming, with options for seafood, red meat, vegetarian, and of course charcuterie. We ordered the paté and sausage plate. It was smaller than expected but still very good. We also shared the braised rabbit and skate wing. Both were especially tender and delicious, but the skate was quite soft and melts in your mouth. The rabbit was accompanied by a wonderful tomato sauce. We were slightly surprised at how many dishes came with rice on the side, but nonetheless very good. The parking lot is small so it’s likely you might have to park on the street.

This restraunt is terrific! The waiters or just absolutely amazing! They serve you like your royal! And the food was cooked perfectly and I never saw any error or anything bad about it! I definitely recommend the roasted duck!! And when I came home it wasn’t like one of those restaurants that you would leave feeling sick or super full or just uncomfortable, I felt perfect! And I also definitely recommend the chocolate mousse on the dessert menu!

A perfect visit for my mother’s birthday! There are many prix fixe choices, and everything we ordered was perfectly cooked. My mother couldn’t stop talking about how large the scallops were, and declared them better than those served at her longtime favorite restaurant. Make sure to get the cheese tray. It was so good, and was perfect to finish the little bit of Vouvray we had left. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the all French wine list, and the very knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff. This was our first visit, but before leaving, we were already planning our next!

I will qualify my negative review by saying that I have been here twice- the first time many years ago, and I don’t remember anything except having a good time.

My daughter who just completed her freshman year in high school, (first year French class) wanted to attend this restaurant. So at the end of the school year as a reward for doing well we went to this beautiful restaurant. My 10 year old son, 24 year old daughter and I had an amazing time. Our host was kind, spoke French, and made our experience truly enjoyable. We all tried food we never had before and can’t wait to go back. The dining room was beautiful and the staff were excellent. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking to try something different.
