I was really excited to eat at this place because I had heard it hyped up. However, I was not really impressed. Just an overall ok, service was slow and it wasn’t particularly busy. The brisket reminded me of an italian beef from the consistency and the taste. The selection of draft beers is minimal. This place has the potential to be great but missed it on all accounts. I would recommend driving a little farther to Hickory River unless you are wanting to watch TV and drink.

This was our first time here . We did appetizers of pretzel bites and fried mushrooms. Both were good, and mushrooms were breaded just right. I had rib tip dinner with Cole slaw and mac and cheese. Loved it. My friend had their hot dog with slaw, beans, onions, etc. and she truly said it was great. We will be back .

Great atmosphere and super good food. Wait staff was slow we ordered right away for fear he would not be back right away. Plus we were over charged for an item our waiter forgot. All in all it was big portions and delicious food. Be prepared it is a loud atmosphere. Also they charge if you want extra bbq sauce that does not come with your dinner. It’s a barbecue place it should come with bountiful barbecue sauce.

First time visitors. Food was amazing and worth every penny. Ribs had incredible smoke and cooked to perfection. Pit Beans were some of the best I’ve ever had, great pit smoke on those as well with the right amount of heat. Jalapeño Mac and Cheese was fire!! That Honey Hot Sauce? I’d probably be tempted to try Brussel sprouts if they were smothered in that stuff. Service was prompt, polite and professional. Some staff out front on break thanked us for coming in. Just an all around wonderful dining experience.

The beef tips were delicious! The sweet sauce and bourbon sauce are definitely worth trying. Loved the sweet sauce best. The fries were crispy and fresh. The atmosphere, service and food are worthy of 5 stars! If you’re in the are make the trip to The Ribcage it’s worth it.

Overall everything was great but for some reason they slice their brisket with the grain here. This results in a hard to chew sandwich. I’ll probably try this place again, but slicing against the grain is kind of a bbq 101 thing.

Wife and I ate here for dinner. My wife loved the buffalo pork egg rolls as an appetizer. We both loved the sides. The hash brown casserole was awesome as was the jalapeno and bacon Mac n cheese. They both are must haves. The smoked sausage was good. The turkey was Ok but a little dry. The BBQ sauces were original and good. We recommend the Texas and honey hot. They were our favorite. I liked the bourbon peach. My wife did not but she is not a bourbon fan and it had a heavy bourbon flavor. Service was excellent

The hot cobbler never disappoints. The hot honey bbq they have as a choice of sauce is very unique. Where it’s not too spicy and thin, so a little can go a long way or you can cover everything with it.

We are so excited to see a good BBQ place close to home. Can’t wait to see the full menu. We went for lunch. I had the brisket sandwich and hubby had the rib sandwich. The rib sandwich was exactly as it sounds. They removed the bone from the ribs and put it on the bun. Each came with one side so we got the pit beans and the mac. Plus added the cole slaw just to try all the sides they had that day. Everything tasted great and fresh! We loved all the sides. The meat had great flavor and you wouldn’t need sauce but if you are a sauce person they had a variety. We liked the sweet and texas. Service was super nice.
