Max Porter’s is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area! Its cozy vibe, great coffee and tasty food make it a wonderful spot to pass an afternoon reading or chatting. They have comfy couches for relaxing, and tables for having lunch or working on your laptop. The food and coffee are high quality and always delicious! Their specials and seasonal items are creative and worth trying. Today I had a dark chocolate orange mocha which was made with housemade orange chocolate sauce. It was the perfect balance of sweetness, brightness and creaminess! If ordering food, it can sometimes take a little while depending on how busy they are because most of its made to order, but its worth the wait.

Great little café right in the heart of downtown Junction City. Has a nice decor and free WiFi. If they have it, they’ll make it for you with a smile on their faces. I always order the same thing and the food is always fresh and doesn’t appear to be more than a day old. They’re open Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sunday’s. It’s not very accessible for handicapped people unless you get out from wherever you parked(free street parking) and walk to the nearest intersection and walk up the sidewalk, otherwise you have to step up over the curb to get on the sidewalk. There is a free parking lot on 5th and Greenwood, so if you’re in a wheelchair you can park there and walk up to 6th and Greenwood and cross there.

Max Porter’s is a great, low key place to have a delicious coffee, tea and/or breakfast and lunch. Located in Junction City, the very definition of small town America, the atmosphere is cheery, bright, and very welcoming. Restrooms are sparkling, and the restaurant is clean. The roast beef sandwich was ample and delicious. The breakfast sandwich was amazing! Make Max Porter’s a must stop when you find yourself on OR99 in Junction City

Max Porter’s Coffeehouse is an essential in Junction City, Oregon.

What makes this place is the atmosphere they provide. Dim lit, sweet music, and hospitable hosts.

They accommodate you with a breakfast menu, tea, coffee of course, and merchandise.

I would recommend the Brown Sugar Cardamom Latte ☕️

Don’t hesitate, make this your next spot!

Until next time,

Honestly won’t be coming back here after a rough interaction on my birthday. The (manager?) told me to leave because I had my lapdog inside and said there were “signs posted everywhere” that dogs weren’t allowed, but there weren’t any on the door or that were visible and like okay sure that’s fine but also, the staff weren’t kind after that to me or my friends. The food was MID at best, coffee wasn’t great either and all around disappointing experience. Also, my friend didn’t get a food item she ordered and instead of replacing it when we came back for it they “refunded” her but they actually did not.

I get it, dogs aren’t allowed inside fine. But the unnecessary coldness towards us afterwards and unwillingness to make anything right sucked.

I’d recommend Dutch bros down the road they’re super friendly and get the drinks right every time! ♥️

Love this place. The coffee is always amazing when I’m here. The vibe is nice. The customer service not so much. Maybe because I’m from out of town? I don’t know. A hi, or good morning would have been nice. But it’s okay. Killer coffee. Food is okay.

Max Porter’s is the place to go for breakfast/lunch in Junction City. It’s a cozy coffee shop in a restored older building with lots of tables, chairs, and even a couple sofas. If you’re looking to meet friends over a cup of coffee I’d go here. If the Oregon weather cooperates there are tables outside too.

The food is very good and consistent. We pick up to go about once a week and it is delicious. I recommend the Italian sandwich or the TBA salad if you’re here for lunch. If you arrive earlier the breakfast burritos with the house sauce are amazing.

Max Porter’s also has a steady rotation of sweet pastries in their case. I recommend the cinnamon rolls.

Lovely coffee shop / Cafe. Delicious food options and yummy specialty lattes. I’m a sucker for dark chocolate orange (limited time).

Glad we were able to stop by on our trip.
