One of the best little greasy spoons that I’ve been to, I’m thinking it’s a family-run business. I only came in for the coffee, but they have a wide local customer base. Which keeps them busy especially during breakfast and lunch. Next time on my way through New Carlisle I will be stopping longer for a meal. Keep up the good work ladies and may the Lord bless you in this place

I went to The Diner on 8-15-25. The place was packed and one table became available when we walked in, but had to be cleaned. Instead of blocking the door we went over to the table to wait for it to be wiped off. The waitress disgustedly said “it’s not clean yet”, and then proceeded to wait on another table and not come over to clean it. I don’t know her name, but she always has an attitude. It’s not Jen, she is wonderful! We just left instead of dealing with her BS!

I just had the eggs, hash browns, bacon and biscuit. The hash browns were crispy and I didn’t even have to ask.
