We loved our time at the Raymond. Wonderful place to catch up with old friends over good brunch food. Our server couldn’t stop raving about their pastry chef, so we tried their muffin of the day and carrot cake. We were so happy we did. Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere!

This is one of those places where EVERYTHING was great including the service. Our only slight complaint was we made a reservation for inside with the AC however they prop a door open to the outside, which really heats up the dining room. We didn’t have cocktails bc we were too warm. BUT the food was FANTASTIC!

This is one of my go to restaurants for weekend, brunch and dinner anytime Pasadena area. Highly upscale, old school estate house on the hilltop with beautiful outside seating and service. Their steak is to die for, also love the brunch burger and DO NOT FORGET THE CINNAMON ROLL

This New American restaurant serves farm to table food and is well known for its bar offerings and cocktails. The place has a small old fashion dining room and a nicer patio. The sea bass, ocean trout and gem salad were all under seasoned. The roasted acorn squash and ahi poke salad were both delicious and were the best dishes of the night. I asked for a minty mock tail and it came out tart and refreshing. The dessert menu did not look enticing so we skipped dessert and went elsewhere.

I had a lovely dinner with a dear friend at the Raymond in July. We loved the creative drinks, attentive service, unique atmosphere, grilled cauliflower and tacos. We didn’t care much for the poke appetizer. The next day we both had horrible food poisoning symptoms that lasted for over a week! It had to be the poke. The rest of our experience was good so I might return, but only for cocktails.

Everything was fantastic. Great food. Great service. The environment was lovely. It was quiet enough to have a conversation and roomy enough for the tables to feel far from each other.

Absolutely loved the historic homeliness of The Raymond, rustic, casual, tranquil fountains and green garden setting. This contrasted with the somewhat disjointed service, our cocktail took ages to arrive, needed follow up but was delicious when it arrived. We’d asked for mayo but by the time it arrived the fries had gone cold. It would also have been great to see more vegetarian options.
