I had NY strip steak, deliciously seasoned with a slight crunch to the outside and juicy on the inside. Really one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Came with garlic mashed potatoes. We ordered fries as an appetizer. The young lady that took our order had a great attitude – quite helpful and eager to please.

This was a great experience for our anniversary. It has a casual feel with fine dining food. My wife and I are regularly trying new restaurants and this was a first visit for us. We would say if you’re looking for a special dinner or simply a good meal this would be a great choice. The bartender was actually our server, his name is Antonio and he did a great job! Very friendly, cordial, and attentive. Thanks for a great time on our anniversary!

Interesting restaurant and bar, with two rooms of vastly contrasting styles. The first was like a normal bar and grill, with a fun vibe and rather loud music. We ate in the second room, which was more like a nice restaurant. A “grand piano” electronic keyboard provided soothing music. Both rooms had a very musty odor. Service was good, and there are several wine choices, along with beers and cocktails. The menu when we went was pizza and pasta. Apparently that changes daily. We loved all 3 pastas we got, but wished they came with bread and/or salad. Prices were okay; I paid $19 for lobster ravioli.

Ordered through a delivery service. We had a wagyu beef burger cooked medium well. It wasn’t done. It looked like a frozen patty, but could be wrong. Also ordered crab cakes and they weren’t anywhere near done. The taste was good. The 2 sides ordered were grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. There were 3 asparagus spears with it. Also ordered the burger dressed in the side and all that was in there was tomato and mixed salad greens. The fried mushrooms were good

Take out order for cheesecake slices. I was left standing by the door, price was higher than listed online and arrived at opening with only one customer inside and still was left waiting over 10 minutes for someone to put premade cheesecake into a box. The woman who brought it to me was carrying it so both pieces fell sideways in the containers. It was delicious but I’m totally disappointed in the increase of price and very disappointed in customer service.

Me and the wife decided to eat at The Rainey by Nev and man what an experience! From the appetizer to the dessert was a first class experience of presentation and taste. 100% recommend.

Downtown restaurant with great atmosphere for dining and drinks. Broad menu for starters and plates but the beer could provide a wider selection of bottles and draft including more Mississippi beer options. I had the Cajun Pasta and can vouch for it’s great flavor and authentic bayou ingredients. Hope to make it back there one day.

3 coworkers and myself stopped in for dinner. Myself and another coworker ordered the black & blue ribeye cooked to a Medium. When our food arrived we quickly found both steaks were cooked well done, which is basically a sin against prime rib.

A great restaurant that can rival any big city restaurant. The whiskey sour is made the old fashioned way and the old fashioned is made the right way. The seafood platter was great and the cajun pasta was “off the hook”. The ambiance is inviting and decor well thought out. Highly recommend! I’ll be back.
