The dining room reminds me of a chipotle, but with whites and blues as the color scheme.
It’s the kind of fast casual place you order up front and they give you a number for your table. We waited maybe 15 mins for our food to come out after we ordered.
We both got the falafel combo, which is a drink, fries and a falafel for $16. This was a large portion of food, well worth the money! The fries had some texture to them, and the tzatziki sauce was great!
The staff were fine, kind, patient, but left you alone.
Great spot for lunch in Maple Grove. A bit loud, but my friend and I were still able to hold a conversation pretty easily.
Wow. Thank you!
I ordered the falafel plate, and while everything was presented nicely, the food itself felt like an Americanized take on Greek cuisine. Both the falafel and hummus were somewhat bland, the pita was unremarkable, and the rice was just okay. The standout was the salad, which was fresh and well-prepared.
Compared to Naf Naf Grill, The Great Greek offers better presentation and ambiance. Still, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. It’s a reasonable choice if you’re in the area, but not a go-to spot for truly flavorful or authentic Mediterranean food.
Very salty but good fries. The cheese congealed unfortunately but still good. Very garlic forward.
The falafel is pretty good, soft on the inside and not too dry. Pretty decent rice bowl overall. Light vinaigrette. The black olives can be a bit overpowering at times.
The gyro meat is a bit dry but flavorful. Plenty of meat in the wrap. Pita is very soft and light. Good tzatziki sauce.
Due to staffing at this time, there aren’t servers but you can eat inside
