Everything about this place is amazing. The food is sooooo good. We got cheese fries with chicken, the chicken was smoky greatness. The pork egg rolls are great and the bbq sauces are amazing! If you’re in the area looking for the best lunch this is the place for it. The decor and friendly staff are equally as amazing as the food. There’s a great little covered picnic area for you to enjoy your food on as well.

The service was timely and had a welcoming atmosphere. The food however wasn’t the same. The sauce leaves you wondering if they understand bbq at all and there was such a lack of smoke flavor in the food I wanted to cry because I wasted my birthday money on such a major disappointment to my taste buds. Which is a shame. I heard good things about this place but it didn’t live up to what I heard and ruined my birthday dinner. Had to celebrate a day earlier as well since this place was unfortunately closed the day of my B-Day but that wasn’t really an issue.

easy access… tried the pork and brisket sammiches today. didn’t hate it. To be honest, they were both a bit dry, the pork being a little stringy. the brisket was better than the pork which is odd for bbq places….. excellent service, great people running the place. best bbq i’ve had in Maine so far…. don’t take it too harsh, I’m from Oklahoma….”flatlander”. lol

The food speaks for it self. Excellent BBQ. Friendly welcoming and helpful staff. The food is extremely filling and they give you generous portions. Don’t hesitate because they do run out of meats! My only complaint is not enough bbq sauce on the side. Maybe up the size of sauce container or you could ask for two sauces.

The food is excellent! He really knows his BBQ. But this is only one step above a food truck. They basically took the wheels off and service food out of the side window. There are a couple of plastic chairs out front, but not so you could be comfortable eating there. With the weather I’m sure it’s a challenge, but this is basically a sit in your car or take it home restaurant. Worth it though!

Brisket had a nice smokey flavor. This place has the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Crispy outside and real onion that doesn’t pull out of its shell when you bite into it. Good food I’ll be back soon.

I have been up in Farmington the past few wee weeks for work, and the gentleman that is always there making the food/covering the front counter is very nice! The ribs are some of the best I have had in quite a long time! Plenty of other delicious option on the menu as well like their pork rolls or their pulled chicken sandwich, I would highly recommend their smokey bbq sauce as a side.

First time. Awesome, very friendly, young man, working alone, took our order and cooked it all perfectly!! Even though there were several orders, this young man managed to get it out to everyone in a very timely fashion, and with a wonderful smile!! great variety of food, reasonable prices and HOLY YUM!!! good slaw, perfect burger, minus the absence of onions, tomato, lettuce and pickles. I think If the owner could get more steady business, he might be apt to add some extra goodies like toppings.. AMAZING chicken tenders, excellent onion rings and fries!! Awesome sauces too!! Super clean area. plenty of nice tables under “the big top”. Great location in town amongst the typical “fast food” places. Don’t drive by it, though! Cute little place, on the left, after Irving’s, coming from the Walmart area. This place is quality, homey, frickin’, really good food!! Met the owner, who live’s on property, friendly talker, with a little bit of a rough edge. I can tell he’s a worker, not a “business” man. Mainer’s know what i mean! We will go again and hope you all check them out on facebook, THE OUTPOST INC, for opening days and times. Let’s keep a brotha open, all year round, and spread the good word!! You’ll be stoked, you did!!
