One of the most storied restaurants in Sandusky Ohio, we have a spacious dining room along with extra seating in warmer months on the wrap-around porch and 10,000-square-foot deck. Outdoor dining at its best, you can sit outside on the porch by the waterfall, where in the summer the mist will cool you off while enjoying waterfront dining, or grab a drink on the deck where the aroma of smoked meats wafts in the air, along with the sound of live music on summer weekends.

The food leaves a little bit to be desired but we mainly went there for the scenery. There is a nice waterfall in the back. You can eat indoors with window seating to view the falls or there is deck seating as well as a tiki bar section outdoors.

We had the worst experience ever. The food was awful and the service was awful as well. We waited over an hour for chips and salsa which was was supposed to be given when seated. We even asked for them multiple times. People were walking out upset because they weren’t even acknowledged for over 25 minutes. The food was awful and was not what we were expecting at all. I got fajitas and the steak was very tough and could barely bite into it. The fries tasted like fish and when we got the food the server said “I’m sorry about the guac, it shouldn’t be served to people” but proceeded to give it to us and didn’t even offer a discount for it. It looked like canned wet dog food that’s been opened for 3 weeks.

I have a feeling this place will end up on kitchen nightmares. Used to be a great place but it’s now dying. We were greeted by a customer leaving who told us they waited over an hour before they were acknowledged and their food order was totally wrong. We get inside and also weren’t acknowledged. The hostess area was a hot mess and I couldn’t even figure out which was the actual menu. After waiting a bit and noticing how stale the place smelled, we left. 2 stars for the beautiful view.

Jasmine was our server she was super nice and attentive she was the best part of this place food was cold and had to be sent back still wasn’t great. The other staff was really rude we could hear them talking amongst themselves

My kids call this the “secret waterfall restaurant” because you can’t see it from the lake until you go under the bridge and upstream a bit. It’s a great place to stop during a day on the water, but only small boats and PWC’s will fit under the bridge. I get the shrimp tacos & corn every time and we love sitting outside by the waterfall.

Chips and salsa are mediocre. Their tortillas soup was decent but they decided to serve a boat full of people their drinks prior to us when we were here long before them. The boat has came and gone. We had been sitting for about a half an hour without drinks and it is not busy here at all. The inside is empty and we are one table of 7 outside.
