Historic old building. Tin ceiling is in great shape. There is a counter at the back where you put in your order. There are burger, pizza, chicken finger and buffalo wing options. Fries and onion rings. We were a group of 5 headed from Canandaigua to Naples and needed to eat. We enjoy discovering new and unusual gems and this was one. Everyone had burgers and fries and I had a vanilla milkshake. We were served by the husband and wife owners. They were very friendly and informative. Wendy (wife) was full of info on the building and town. She was very enjoyable to talk too. We will visit again. The place is in the middle of nowhere which is part of the charm.

I had been huntin at bare hill and saw the Old Country Store on my way back through but didn’t stop in. I marked it on my maps as a place to go in the future. Today I stopped in for lunch an I truly enjoyed my experience at the Old Country Store. Staff was very friendly an accommodating. I had a burger that was a touch over cooked but not to worry, I’ll be back again. Next time I’ll ask that it be cooked on the rare side as that’s the way I like it. I enjoy small town places such as these because they’re becoming few an far between.

I was on a ride around Canandaigua Lake and heading north. I wasn’t sure about whether 245 or 364 was the shortest way to Canandaigua so I stopped for directions. Wendy was so nice and she even offered me a ride. It was late in the day and I am no spring chicken so maybe I looked like I needed a ride! But with her directions, I made it back safely. Thank you Wendy!

Fan-freaking-tastic place. Cozy and clean. Wendy and WB are great and have just what you need (and nothing that you don’t). Essentials like milk, eggs, vinegar and hot sauce. S’more making ingredients, chips & dip, and cereal too. I can’t wait until the beer cave is open. But in the meantime I will be enjoying the subs, fall off the bone ribs and BBQ, breakfast sandwiches and more! Make sure you place any order before 6:30 so they can make it home too!
