I am super impressed with the freshness & flavor of the Reuben sandwich & salad I ordered at The Mine Cafe. The Russian dressing perfectly complimented the pastrami & marbled sourdough with grilled sauerkraut.

If your all about off the beaten path spots then this is a must visit! Bree the server was delightful, the cheesesteak sandwich was bomb and the Baklava blew my taste buds away! Wow – definitely will be back for breakfast! Also , I was lucky enough to visit after they just renovated it back to its very original feel from the 1800’s.

Too hot in the back seating area. I ordered the Miners breakfast, two eggs any style, choice of home fries or hashbrowns, choice of pancake, biscuit with gravy or toast,with bacon $14. I also ordered a regular coffee that was very good for $4. As far as my breakfast went, the hashbrowns were paper thin and nearly burnt, the home fries would be a better choice. The bacon, eggs and biscuit and gravy were good. I don’t see myself going back here to eat again.

Had breakfast here recently on a Sunday. The food was fine nothing to remember! Service was horrible, our server was a young guy and he was so overwhelmed by everything and I just really could not figure out what was causing all his angst! He was about as unfriendly as one can get and I’m not one who needs a song and a dance all I really want is to be treated like a paying customer and not be treated like I’m just a bothersome problem so yep stay away from this place…food isn’t all that and well service…hmmm

Stopped by Jerome for a day trip, fresh air and take pictures of the scenery. Got there early enough for some morning coffee and breakfast. Everyone was friendly, food was great. Enjoyed the deco of the cafe. The entrance is down some stairs, so forewarning for disabled.

We were in on a Saturday at noon. We were seated right away, as there was only one other couple present. We were given menus, then ignored by staff who were a few feet away looking at us and talking amongst themselves, socializing and laughing. The food was good. Then we waited for our check….so long we almost just walked out. The staff looked right at us and ignored us. There were only two other patrons. We were seated right by the register/bar/kitchen and staff definitely saw we were done eating but took forever to bring our check. Even after we asked, we were ignored. I won’t be back.

We were looking for a good breakfast spot in Jerome during our holiday weekend getaway. We found this quaint little cafe on Yelp. The reviews were decent so we figured we’d give it a try. We were greeted the minute we walked through the door. There were only a couple of customers so we had our pick of seating. The nice lady behind the counter suggested the back area where it was cooler.
