I stopped by on a Monday, like I always used to for the slider special. The bald gentleman that wears a hat was very rude and sassy. All me and my sister did was ask a question and he stated “I told you that the last time” with an attitude. It was busy, we were standing (which is fine) we don’t mind bc we typically enjoy our experience and the food is good! We were just inquiring about something we genuinely didn’t know the answer to. The encounter was unpleasant. All the bars in this town are awful and this was the one that we could really say we enjoy the staff and hospitality. After that… not so much. Hopefully this can be a learning experience and he can learn how to be a kinder human.

Alright so this is a response to the reaction to the last review by “John,” I was there that night and went into the restroom saw him erasing what crazy stuff was written. Saying he did not do anything about it and only ranted is a bit rash. From my own experience the bartenders treated me with a feeling of disdain and disregard that night. I understand where the misunderstanding came from, and reading the response shows me why every other bar has become the go to in town since moving here.

Waited over 1 hour for popcorn chicken that was so over-seasoned it was practically inedible which felt like a health concern, not a taste issue.
The bartender tried a bite and agreed it was inedible, yet there was no refund, no remake, and no apology. I guess they are ok serving inedible food?
Ps. Their reasoning is that there were only 3/8 pieces left. We were in a group of 7 each tried one bite and spat it out.
Extreme wait time, unsafe food quality, and poor customer service. Would not recommend.

Bartender took my card, gave me my beer and then walked away. I assumed he kept my tab open and I was fine with that. I came back later to close out with a different bartender and asked for my card, she couldn’t find it then asked the bartender who took my card. He got very defensive and denied every bit of me asking for my card back, claiming “he deals with this a lot” and balmed me for misplacing it. His name is Tristian, I then asked him for my card back then he sternly told me it’s my fault and got defensive that I misplaced it. Mind you it was the first bar I got to in the night. I was not drunk or any kind of under the influence. He acted like a man-child and was unprofessional. Now I have to cancel my card and go through that process because YOUR bartender decided it was my fault he TOOK my card. “Even though this bar doesn’t keep cards”. Terrible bartender. I just want my card back. Ive explained to your bartenders multiple times as I watch him walk away with it and he never gave it back but it’s my fault. Sure.. grow up

This is a smoky little bar in a downtown basement. They have a limited selection of bar food and typical drinks. If that’s your thing, here you go.
The music was just a little loud for casual conversation, depending on where you sat, but at least the music selection was good.
Service was pretty meh. We were confused at first if we were supposed to order at the bar, or wait for someone, because nobody came to the tables. It happened eventually.
The food was alright, nothing special, but it’ll fill you up just fine.

BOUNCER DIDNT WANT TO LET ME IN
I’ve gone to Blind Pig before and I have a Puerto Rican id. He didn’t want to let me in because I didn’t have a “US” license. I told him that Puerto Rico is part of the US but he said that it’s not considered a state so it doesn’t count . Then he asked if I had a United States license or passport. I told him no I’ve been here before with this ID and I didn’t understand why he won’t let me in. Then he said “Well your Id doesn’t appear fake…”. I told yea cause it isn’t . Then he said “I’ll let it go this time”. Never had an experience like this with a bar. Never felt so terrible. Ruined my night. Never going again.

spot 2020
This place could be so great but a select few “female server and male bartender” makes this place terrible. They double charged a friend of ours and refused to fix it, then proceeded to tell us we are all banned when we said we would dispute the charge. We are approximately a table of 10 that have been going there 2 times a week and Miss Green hair wouldn’t listen and just yelled at all of us to leave. Absolutely an insane experience.

Classic timeless basement bar, noisy, crowded, and low priced sucrose flavored drinks, large can and bottle beer selection, staff made for fun times and served up a long island quick. Can see myself dropping down again soon to try the food!

Vibe was ok. Bartenders didnt seem to know what the prices were and just made up whatever sounded good to them. Got charged different rates for same drinks and it was always over advertised price. Their attitudes were definitely off putting to say the least. Didn’t have good ac. Unlikely to revisit unless they change staff and it cools down.
