Had the fennel sausage and porchetta sandwich. For the ,they use their house made focaccia and it was very good.

So this little bowl of pasta is $17 plus tax. I’m sorry I know it’s Los Angeles but are you charging by the macaroni because I think there are actually 16 in this order. (Not worth the $$$)

Made a reservation at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. Didn’t get seated until 9:05. What’s the point of a reservation then? While waiting, one of the waitresses brought us complementary Champagne, which was a nice gesture. The place is more a casual spot – it was uncomfortably warm inside and they had hip hop playing pretty loudly. We were also given a complimentary appetizer and complimentary cookies due to our long wait time. The food was good, but was not special enough to offset the 35 min wait time. Additionally, it took ~15 min to get our card back because the kiosk went down. We were there for an hour and a half, which really ruined our night as we were going somewhere else after. It wasn’t worth the time or the $70 for 1 appetizer and 2 dishes. Honestly would give it 1 star if they hadn’t given us the complimentary food. The staff was very friendly though and were aware of our wait time, so definitely wasn’t their fault. I do understand that this is a fairly new place and that most of the patrons seemed to take their times and chat, which definitely could have contributed to the long wait time.

Refined but casual, order at the register before getting seated. Pasta is on point and made in house. Big flavor without being over salted. About $16 for pasta. Not cheap but I don’t feel cheated with the good quality. Will return.

If you arrive after 12 pm, good luck finding seating for a group of 4 or more. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The ventilation inside is poor; your clothes will come out smelling as if u were the sous chef!

Went for a group dinner. Food was excellent. Service was good, but not very attentive. Possible we had a server who is new to the trade, but he was charming so it was okay. You MUST try the desserts.

I will never step foot in this restaurant again. In December I visited the restaurant for the 3rd time due to its convenient location from my home. The service much like it always had been in the past, was very slow. Once I was seated at the bar I waited 13 mins before even being served a glass of water. When I asked to speak to the manager a lady of Asian decent walked over. As I told her this was my 3rd time visiting the restaurant and I was unpleased with the level of service she said that I could find another place to eat. I was blown away by her comment. She then held up a picture that she had found in her phone of an African American male and said that it was myself. She then proceeded to accuse me of dinning and dashing a few nights before. I explained to her that the picture was not of me and that all African Americans do not look alike. I then proceeded to leave as she became aggressive and began to move closer to me as an attempt to block me in between the bar and a large concrete post were I was seated. I attempted to reach the owner of the restaurant the next day and explain the event of racial profiling that took place in their establishment. He nor his wife responded. I have moved forward legally in an effort to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else. It was the worst experience I had ever experienced while dining out. I’m never eating there again

Fantastic neighborhood place in the ❤ of downtow Los Angeles. Great food, appetizers, beer and. California wines. If you are ordering appetizers and dessert, the rotisserie chicken plate is big enough to share, and the prices are affordable. Popular during lunch hour, try it for a late lunch or early dinner before the theather. Street parking is available.

Atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly, food is very flavorful. It’s just a but pricy for how small the pasta portions are.
