Fast, friendly service. I had the roasted vegetables with chickpeas and potatoes, I highly recommended it! The ingredients tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. We were there at noon on a Thursday and it wasn’t very crowded. Plenty of locally sourced meat and vegetarian options.

A welcome change from the standard fare we’ve been finding of meat, burgers, salad and potatoes. More thoughtful menu here. We had flatbread with pulled elk and salad and a pork green chili (which was not at all spicy, despite our server’s warning). Both had nice flavour. Good service.

The food was fantastic! Stopped by one afternoon for lunch and really enjoyed everything about the experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, food was great, ambiance was inviting, etc. The one tiny drawback was that I didn’t realize that reservations where pretty much necessary for dinner… even on a Thursday night!! Short of not being able to be seated when I returned for dinner that week, everything else was fantastic and I would highly recommend The Local if you are in Cody. Just remember to make reservations around dinner time!!

The Local is gluten free and food allergy friendly. They source local and organic ingredients whenever possible. The menu is unique and the food is always beautiful and delicious! The front of house service is the best in Cody.

Incredible place. I was greeted and served by Effie, a wonderful, delightful person. The environment is beautiful and the walls are covered with lovely photos from around the world. I had a breakfast burrito and it was awesome. This place is a jewel in the West.
