Great deli with lots of options. Very traditional items but some other interesting sandwiches. I ordered the Jewish Cheesesteak. The brisket was super tender and flavorful. The rolls were soft and perfectly held the enormous amount of meat, coleslaw, pepper jack cheese, and Russian dressing that comes on their unique take on the cheesesteak. They also have a traditional cheesesteak but I went with their different take on it. The pickle bar was a great appetizer to start off the meal with lots of different pickles and salads. It’s a simple place with small tables that are pretty cramped and it does get busy at lunch time when I was there. The food is a bit pricey (19$ for the Jewish cheesesteak).

I’m in town for training for my job and have never been to New Jersey. Thought about having pizza delivered to my room but then decided to try something out of the box. Found this place online and ordered their Jewish Cheesesteak…. I’m here for four more days and I’m pretty sure I’ll be going back! Loved the food!

Omg, I don’t even know where to begin…the food was hands down some of the best old fashioned Jewish deli food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything was amazing & the portions are so large I had left overs that were just as amazing re heated. The waitress was so wonderful & personable. The counter staff kept up with the crowd & so friendly. I can’t wait to come back again & try something else!

Food was very good, especially the matzo ball soup. The Reuben I would have preferred warmed up. The drinks were flat. The place was a little messy when we got there. Tables were not cleaned after other customers left.

We travel a long distance to go any time we get a craving for great deli food. Nothing compares to The Kibitz Room. My husband said if he took a bite out of the gates of Heaven, he has no doubt they’d taste like the sandwich he had today. . It really is that good.

The best Jewish style deli in South Jersey, and probably one of the tops in NJ period. The pastrami and corned beef are top notch, and don’t sleep on the pastrami or jewish cheesesteak! Pickle bar is always great as well! The soups are delicious, highly recommend the cabbage soup. Staff has always been great!

Authentic Jewish deli, large portions, fair prices, self serve coffee & pickle bars, nice layout, good friendly service, easy parking. Went with my friend and we gorged on a fish platter on a Sunday morning, great deserts as well and clean! Highly recommended!

I was so hoping that the quality hadn’t declined over the years. I haven’t been here to eat in quite some time as I had moved out of state, but this use to be a regular place for lunch at my job for over a decade. I ordered in today and my fave potato salad has dwindled down to wet potatoes featuring red onion. It was bad. The sandwich meat is still quality and of course… piled to the sky. I wish they read my instructions better. I checked the receipt & it was printed but ignored. Maybe I’ll try again… in-person and nix the sides. Maybe.

The only thing that could improve the kibitz room, would be a really kosher experience. For those who do not require kosher food out, I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. All of the dishes are made inside from scratch just like grandmom or mom made them. There incredible pickle bar is still a great high point to my visit. They’re desserts are unbelievable. There is always more food that can be eaten in one sitting. I recommend you go and enjoy.
