Had a delicious lunch at LA Placita. Ordered the sampler but the Sar of the meal was the black bean bip we ordered for the appetizer. Lovely family run business. Highly recommended.

We have been here in the past and had a nice meal. Yesterday was a bit disappointing. The food was just not that tasty. Also, be warned, if you order the fried tilapia expecting a nice filet, you’ll be surprised. They serve the entire fish. OK, I get it, that’s how it’s done. I just wish there was something on the menu telling you that. I’m not a fan of the process of dissecting the fish to get little pieces of flesh. Also not a fan of waiting in line to order and then waiting in line, again, to pay.

Excellent food and service, and the restaurant is very welcoming. They sell a variety of packaged foods along with the food they serve. The pupusas are delicious!

So so good! Probably the best pupusa I’ve ever had. The staff was so kind, and the restaurant has little interesting educational sheets about El Salvador. There is also a decent amount of the good glass bottled sodas and beverages and other Hispanic goodies. Would 1000% recommend.

This unique restaurant was quite a surprise. We saw it advertised while traveling to San Antonio and pulled off I-35. It is quite close to the interstate (about 3/4 mile). Don’t let the external appearance fool you. It looks like a converted, corner gas station. Inside, it is a grocery store and restaurant. Service was great and the food was authentic Salvadoran. Worthy of stopping by and enjoying a good meal.

Tried this little place for the first time and was very happily pleased. Roger was awesome in explaining the menu and ingredients for us. We tried a little bit of everything. I was very grateful for his wonderful customer service skills. We highly recommend to everyone. Thank you la placiita, we’ll be back soon.

Pupusa and Bistek Tacos were absolutely amazing. Tried other places which closed early, this place was on the way home so we stopped and so glad we did. We will definitely be back for more! Such good taste and price!

Delicious food! Papusas were my favorite, but everything was so good. My husband’s favorite were the empanadas. (I loved those too!) We tried a LOT! They have snacks, sodas, and bakery items as well. Everyone was very friendly, and service was fast. We will look forward to going again.

Food in delicious, I tried the pastels with both chicken and beef, a couple of tacos and the quesadilla. Food is made fast and tastes fresh, the corn tortillas are some of the best I’ve had!
