The food was really good but very over priced. The arcade was all working and better priced than most. The games were all old and out dated though. Go carts were fun. The staff there were all friendly and helpful! With newer and more games for the arcade and reasonably priced food I would rate 5 stars. This was however a great break from the car on a family road trip.

We arrived right before closing time, but the staff eagerly waited on us. All in our party had the chicken fried steak and we all thought it was very good. The rolls were this tasty yeast rolls with cinnamon butter – can you say yummy. The blue cheese seemed like it was fresh made (if it was from a bottle, it was great quality). The sweet tea was that good southern sweet tea, you know, 2 parts sugar, 1 part tea. 😉 all in all, everything was great, our waitress was great in servicing us.

I can’t comment on the quality of the food, since after 2hrs there I was never served. We were in the private dining area with roughly 30-40 people. There were only 2 of the numerous waitstaff handling our large group. My sons never got drink refills after 45mins of sitting there empty. The manager never came to check on things. I was never served food. After asking to speak with the manager, who again never showed his face even though food had to be removed from the tab for never being served, it took several minutes before he finally made his way out. He threw me a quick, halfa$$ed apology and told me “it’s gonna be ok”. I’ve never had such an awful experience at a restaurant. I’ve never been made to feel like dirt for rightfully complaining. Fire the manager. What a shitshow!

Met my son and his girlfriend from Carthage there for a Father’s Day meal. Food was PERFECT!!! Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. Mr. Bishop is truly the heart and soul of the restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised! My son and I were returning home after a trip to Dallas and were looking for a place where we could sit and relax for a bit. The food was fresh, the restaurant area is separated from the rest of the on-site activities and the staff was attentive.

If there was a no star rating then I would’ve rated it that way. We timed our order for 42 minutes until we got it because the waitress put in our order very late. You dont get much quantity of food, my salad cost $5 and it was super small, my husband had to share his food with me cause it wasnt much. And by the time we got finished with our food it was 10 minutes after five, so we didnt get to ride the go carts. Worst experience ever!! Not to mention we had three refills before we even got our food. WE HAD TO ASK FOR REFILLS CAUSE SHE WOULDNT CHECK ON US!! THREE PEOPLE GOT THERE FOOD THAT CAME 20 MINUTES AFTER US!!!! Oh yeah, and the steaks were burnt and didn’t get silver ware till we asked for it.

The steak was to die for. The portion were right on, service was good. Really appreciated the owner coming around and speaking to everyone. I mean he came to every table. It’s place like this that makes going out to eat enjoyable!
