I had an experience here one time while I was chasing a cat down the street that was lost for my family. I didn’t like the cat but I did care about my family. It was the first time visiting my mother-in-law and father-in-law. It was very important to me to find this cat as I was the person who had lost it. My father-in-law is soon to be father-in-law work for the CIA. There’s a circle of trust that was broken, and I intern duct in here to find my relief from puff the magic dragon, and found great relief inside the comfort of the delicious food inside of this establishment may peace be with you and all of your family.

Great food and our waiter Josh was excellent! Will go back again next year. Get there early to sit outside by the beautiful Brook. Had the shrimp scampi with little clams over pasta. Was wonderful!

The Firehouse is an awesome spot located in the heart of the charming hamlet of Hague. They’ve got a large assortment of canned and draft beers (including a delicious local sour on draft!), a lively bar, and a lovely outdoor patio atop a babbling brook. As of Summer 2022, they’re bringing in different food trucks and caterers every night, so the variety in food is delicious and exciting. Definitely worth the detour to check ’em out.

The staff is very friendly and inviting. There were 4 craft beers on tap at 8 bucks a piece, they’re served in mason jars which is a nice touch. Currently they’re not using the kitchen but have a steady rotation of food trucks. The night I visited the food was Caribbean by Vashti’s Kitchen Delight. The Jerk chicken was spot on! I highly recommend visiting regularly.

We did takeout from the Firehouse on a recent trip to Lake George. The folks were very nice and very helpful. The menu is limited but there were several specials to pick from. We ordered 5 different meals and 3 were good and two, not so much. All in all we would try TFH again.

Lovely creekside open air location, interesting and locally sourced tasty food… A breath of fresh air considering lack of quality nearby options. We parked the boat at the public dock in Hague and made the short and pretty walk to the restaurant. They were very kind to our birthday guest as well. Would definitely recommend. Think the charge for fries/chips is slightly steep, but the food is well done and worth it overall as the portions are adequate.

What a cute backdrop. Pretty woods and beautiful stream running past. That part is 5 stars. But the food was really average and service pretty untrained. The ice tea was from a fountain and food really unseasoned. My kids wouldn’t even eat the chicken fingers (eek). I got a tasteless flat bread that claimed to be using heirloom tomatoes, but got 3 quarter size slices of paper thin tasteless tomato. Their was also no flavor to the olive oil or mozzarella. The Tuna nachos (deconstructed) that my wife got was pretty and tasted “okay” but lacked in much tuna and could have been more substantive. If not for the setting the review would be way worse.
