First time dining at this location. Met with friends to dine before going to the nearby theater. Had downloaded their app earlier in the day and ordered and paid for my dinner for dine-in at the designated group meet-up time. The app was easy to use and my order was ready at the requested time. My fries were excellent in texture and flavor. My burger was a bit greasy and my bun was flat and soaked with oil. Also, I was surprised when others in my group came to table with soft serve ice cream cones, as this item was NOT available for ordering thru their app. So I returned to the counter and ordered it separately in person. Apparently the staff isn’t consistent in preparing a soft swirl cream cone. Mine was half the size and volume in comparison to the orders prepared for the other individuals in my group…quite disappointing.

I have been going here since it opened and the food was great, but now the food quality has gone down significantly. I get the Grilled Chicken Salad and the salad last week had undercooked chicken (I ended up picking all the chicken out to eat the rest of the salad). Today I got the same thing, but the lettuce was not fresh and very limp. It seems that they had frozen lettuce as some pieces were very cold. It is very disappointing when you pay $15 for a salad.

The food tasted good, but I asked for my ahi tuna filet to be well done, and it still ended up being very pink inside. Also, I asked for no tartar sauce, and it seemed like they gave me extra teriyaki sauce in place of the missing tartar sauce, which I did not ask for. The service was great, though, and it was really clean inside the restaurant.

As a lifelong customer of the Habit since the early ’70’s I’ve come to expect a certain quality and taste when I visit The Habit. I was recently disappointed when dining at a Habit franchise in LA. While visiting Poway I decided to give The Habit another try. I was pleased to find this franchise adhering to the original methods. A clean restaurant and friendly staff. I’ll be a regular customer at this Habit whenever I’m in Poway.

Not a bad place. They built this in the middle of the parking lot. We went here the other day and the fries were served cold. As in we ate the fries less than 30 seconds after we went to the front to collect our order and the fries were cold. Everything else came out fine but it seems like this location(we’ve been to many other locations) needs to work on their process. We will be coming back again.

Damn habit is by far one of my favorite places to get burgers and salads, I’ve been to many habits in Southern California, food was unrecognizable here, meat was still raw, bun was cold and burnt, quite ridiculous.. do not go to this location go to the one in Carmel Mountain or Mira Mesa.

This is the worst Habit I’ve been to. I’ve been to the original one is SB. The staff are not particular friendly. I am least impressed with the food. The timing of cooking your fries is always off. Once your main course is prepared the sides are cold. At this location their burgers are sort of soggy. I’ve eaten here over 5 times now and the food is sub par. Bummer since I was originally stoked when I heard they were opening.
