We had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at The Growler. The atmosphere was cool and the vibe was chill. It was a nice place to spend the afternoon. The Growler has a great selection of beer that should suit most tastes. They have food as well, but we didn’t order anything to eat.

Have I really never reviewed the Growler. Well … first …. Just go. Have beer. Eat pretzels and beer cheese and anything else on the menu. The food is so good. They have expanded and taken over the candy store… added a full bar. Play games. Enjoy each other. The Growler is cool and chill.

Wonderful bar. The owner was awesome to talk to and really made you feel welcome. Let us in hours before it opened so we can chill. The place is relaxing and has a wonderful vibe to it. Definitely reccomend stopping here if you are in town!

Was in Oxford for a wedding. If you are a craft beer enthusiast, The Growler is THE PLACE to go in Oxford. Their selection, about 20 taps, was outstanding with some very unique beers. Lots of local and other southern breweries represented. Wait staff behind the bar were very knowledgeable of all their offerings. Definitely search this place out. It’s off Lamar St. which is off The Square. They also offer some food but we had dinner reservations elsewhere. Some tables outside are nice but if drinking inside, remember you’re there for the beer, not the ambiance. Will definitely be back when I visit my brother again.

My wife and I had our first date here and so naturally we rented their space for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. The amount of attention, care, and overall just making sure everything ran smoothly was amazing. I would strongly recommend using The Growler to host your events. Stephen and Krisi really care about their customers and the community and it shows through in their business and how they run it.

They have a really good atmosphere with 2-3 rooms to allow for a little more privacy. The patio seating is nice and covered with a roof, which is a plus during bad weather. They also have reliable WiFi and a handful of outlets making it a great place to get an afternoon of work done on a weekday.

Fun place! Pet friendly (so cool!). Wonderful beer and bourbon selections. Sports were on TVs, which I appreciated. Great bar food options (we had soft pretzels and loaded hot dogs)! Laid back atmosphere and great service.

I love this place. I go here in the afternoons to get some work done and have a great beer. They have a great selection that changes fairly often, so you can always try something new. The food is good, and the atmosphere is top notch, calm and contemporarily rustic. The people who come here are almost never loud and obnoxious, and the sofas are incredibly comfortable. It’s a great place to work and read.
