We attended the Alice and Wonderland Tea at Pie Safe and were absolutely amazed by the delicious teas, fabulous foods, and attentive service! They took great care in presenting a proper tea with an Alice in Wonderland theme! There were decorative backdrops that conveyed the essence of Wonderland. Even the food tied into Alice’s tea in Wonderland—tiny bottles with “Drink Me” on them, and cookies stamped with “Eat Me,” and cookies with chocolate March Hare clocks on them. The tea trays had a delightful mix of savories and sweets, each more delicious than the other. The assortment of teas with clever names really set this party off! The service was impeccable and we can’t wait to do it again!

I genuinely have never had a bad experience at Pie Safe!
My son and I like to visit and split a treat (and sometimes take another to go if we can’t decide ). Always amazed at how delicious everything is!
I have also experienced high tea multiple times! All the food is absolutely wonderful! It is such a great experience and they go above and beyond to make sure the experience is just as wonderful!
It’s always the perfect day to stop in at Pie Safe!

We enjoyed a tea party! The tea flavors were amazing and the tier try of goodies was to die for! My fav tea was the apple cinnamon. We had a great time and it was worth the money!

I came here for my birthday and had the best experience! I got the blueberry cheesecake, and it was incredible. It was so light and fluffy, not heavy like some cheesecakes can be. I also tried a pineapple spritzer (so refreshing) and would definitely get it again.
My boyfriend ordered a butter cinnamon roll and a s’more latte that came with the cutest torch toasted s’more topping. We shared everything, and honestly, every bite and sip was delicious.
The atmosphere is just as good as the food. The place used to be a bank, and you can still see the old vault door with all its gears, which is super cool. There’s even an upstairs seating area with a nice view of the café. The whole place is decorated so cute and cozy.
Can’t wait to come back!

We reserved a table for two at The Pie Safe for their Valentine’s five-course tasting, and it exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt intimate and beautifully curated. With only about ten couples in attendance, it felt exclusive in the best way. Thoughtful. Intentional. Special.
Each course was stunningly presented and perfectly balanced. Sweet without being overwhelming. Creative without being pretentious. Every plate felt like it had a story behind it.
Stephanie created more than a dessert tasting. She created an experience. It felt personal, warm, and memorable.
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s event that feels elevated and meaningful rather than crowded and rushed, this is it.
We left impressed and grateful.

We were in the area doing other items when this place caught our eye. The front does not do the inside justice. Really cool safe in the background looks like it used to be a bank and it’s instantly heaven when you smell all the backing aromas inside. They had a wide selection of cookies, muffins, pies, and cake cakes. They also serve coffee. It’s a perfect spot if you want to eat, have a snack, hang out with the family and kids or your four-legged children outside. I have to admit we were overwhelmed and didn’t know what to get so we started off with a chocolate chip cookie and an Oreo cheesecake. We will definitely come back to try the buckeye pie, which looked amazing. The prices were reasonable, and the servers were absolutely excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try something else.

We attended the Valentines 5 Course Desert Tasting. It was excellent. Only recommendation we have is to consider Blue Ridge Distilling’s Defiant Whiskey’s monthly cocktail class method and consider doing a desert tasting monthly or quarterly without waiting for a special moment. If more frequent, maybe limit it to 3 or 4 instead of 5 to try and keep it to an hour vice 90 min. Regardless, we enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. And deserts were good portions and tasting wonderful. We certainly would attend more. Thanks.

This is such a cute shop! I loved the theme of the old bank and getting to see the old safe was awesome. There is a huge menu selection – it was so difficult to land on the cinnamon roll, but it ended up being an excellent choice (though I don’t think you could go wrong with anything served here). I also had an iced vanilla latte that was to die for!! The overall vibes of the shop as well were cozy and comfortable- definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area!

This place is so stinkin’ cute!! All the staff is so nice, the sweets are SOOOOOO good, and the atmosphere is amazing. I think this place used to be a bank? They have a big bank vault door in there and it’s a really cool attraction piece. The sweets are super fresh and homemade! I love this place so much, and will stop here everytime I am in Forest City!
