Server was great! Drinks were great! Food was good. I really enjoyed the hush puppies and the spoonbread. Chicken was yummy. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were just okay. I would have liked them to be warmer when they arrived at the table. I would like to visit The Eagle again though to try some different menu items.

We ordered hush puppies to start, and then as our entrees we had 1/4 fried chicken, fried chicken sandwich and fries. Everything was really great! I’d definitely recommend trying out the food at this restaurant. It delivers on its southern comfort!

I recently had the pleasure of eating at The Eagle after browsing the Arts Festival and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I choose a combination of side dishes. The mac n cheese, with its five cheeses was ooey gooey and the garlic crumbles added a nice crunch. The southern spoonbread was a bit dense but still good topped with a large dollop of maple butter providing a nice blend of slight sweetness to my meal. Now the succotash, wow! This southern side was a combination of corn, edamame, green beans, bacon, bell pepper and the portion size was perfect, this ramakin was filled when it was delivered to the table. I had heard the word succotash but never actually knew what it was. I was blown away, the vegetables were perfectly tender, not soggy, served warm and the flavors were perfectly balanced.

Their food is really good…. When it’s hot and fresh! They seem to be the best when they are really busy so the food comes out when it’s done. There is a difference between hot & warm.

A night out with friends to this new spot that was recommended for me to check out. I actually enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. The staff was very friendly and kind. Checked on us a few times from the establishment. Mixed age crowd and all seemed pleased to be there.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This place can get busy. We did a walk-in and had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated, but it was certainly worth the wait. Our server Laylah was amazing! Highly recommend trying the Blackberry Lemonade, but they have a wide variety of alcohol choices.

This is a cool place. Big booth seating, dim lighting, get beer selection and outstanding food. I never liked honey before coming here and trying their hot honey. Now I have hot honey at home and I put it on everything. This is a place for family style ordering. Order chicken and sides and everyone shares like we use to do for dinner back in the day. You know before social media and politics melted our brains. Come try this place out. It’s delicious.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I have been checking it out for a while and decided to stop in as soon as they opened on a Thursday afternoon. Everything I ate ( 1/4 white fried chicken, mashed potatoes, collards and biscuits) was delicious. The chicken was seasoned well and it was fried perfectly in my opinion. The collards were also seasoned well. I honestly can’t wait to go back . The service was also good and my server Brittany was very attentive.
