We enjoyed lunch at The Catch and will definitely return. We had some Boudin Balls, excellent fried shrimp, grilled fish, and Bang Bang shrimp, and all were tasty and hot from the stove. We had some seafood gumbo that was thick with goodies and had a nice, dark roux base that you don’t usually find around he.

I remember when Conroe had Long John Silvers. And when they left there was a hole in the options for fast good fish. Well I am glad to say the The Catch has stepped up and taken over. With free cups of beer and frozen margaritas. This place is just what Conroe needed. The food is great. The portions are more than one person can finish. The fisherman’s plate is great. So when your around and want to get down, do yourself a favor and put some flavor in your life and stop by The Catch you will not be disappointed, in my opinion. Have a great day.

I ordered 1 bang bang shrimp, a 4 peice blackened shrimp, 1 grilled chicken salad and a coke zero. I waited in line almost 20 minutes in the drive thru in Conroe. The ONLY reason i didn’t leave and go somewhere else was because i wanted to try the bang bang shrimp that has been advertised. I finally got my food which cost me $30.00.

Stopped in before the Super Bowl to grab a bit to eat. The customer service was great. The young man was extremely helpful and a delight. Found out his mom is the manager and she definitely should be proud to have her son working there.

Great seafood and as good as a Cajun meal you can get this side of he Sabine. Boiled shrimp, big salad, a side of grilled shrimp and a bowl for gumbo. Banana pudding if inclined.

Excellent food. Fried catfish melted in my mouth. Shrimp and hushpuppies amazing. Good Fried. Husband’s pasta was incredible. Great sauce. Definitely recommend. Clean, no frills, great price and great customer service.

We came here on Super Bowl Sunday night and were told it would be 35 minutes to an hour before they started making crawfish again. We were disappointed but wanted to give this place a chance because of all the good reviews. Came tonight and order 5lbs of crawfish. Not impressed. It was very odd that for 8 dollars a pound you don’t get any butter corn or potatoes with your crawfish. Not a deal breaker ordered corn and potatoes with our crawfish. Wasn’t until after we got our crawfish that we were told we had to buy butter separately. So I went to the register and ordered 4 containers of butter. 10 minutes later and after our crawfish was starting to get cold we get our 3 of 4 containers of butter. I’m not too sure if it’s their recipe or what but our butter was burnt. It was dark brown (almost like dirty oil from a deep fryer) and tasted horrible. Just not impressed with this place. It was busy but not so busy you burn butter. The only good thing about this place was the gentleman at the register named Owen. He was very nice and was helping defuse a lot of situations with upset customers (some people had waited over 50 minutes for a sandwich) so great job Owen. Oh we also order hush puppies that were burnt too. Overall, one nice staff member but food was horrible. Half our crawfish was over cooked and lacked all flavor. The only thing that gave it some good flavor was the slap your mamma spice they had on the table. Other than Owen, staff didn’t seem happy and were walking around with very sad and worried looks on their faces. Will not be returning to this restaurant as the money we wasted on this crawfish was not worth it. In the photo you can see we had a lot of super dark and hard crawfish that had little to no meat in them. Oh well don’t know until you go and try for yourself.
