The old hag of a waitress we had was terrible. No respect for my kids love of bacon. She yelled at them for only eating bacon. The buffet glass was filthy. The whole experience was terrible. If I could rate a 0 star I would.

I visited Dubuque this weekend and wanted a breakfast buffet. Downtown we found this restaurant that offered a delicious assortment of breakfast for a wonderful price. The deco was homey, and the staff was inviting. My only disappointment was that the restaurant restroom was down a flight of stairs.

If you enjoy the traditional supper club dining, can’t beat The Bridge for a friendly, family-owned experience. Sandy and Ray are always gracious hosts, and the Friday night fish fry can’t be beat!

I’ll give credit where credit is due, the scrimp scampi and garlic mashed potatoes were great. However, when I leave to find a note on my vehicle threatening to tow me, it doesn’t really make me want to come back.

Sunday breakfast buffet was open until 1 and a good price! Plenty of seating and great for groups. Many options on the buffet were refreshed regularly, even towards the end. Quick, friendly service with a coffee pot and water carafe for the table. Give this place a try, even if you’re just in for the weekend.

Generally an average place for the breakfast bar. The mini muffins are great but a fair portion of the food is alright. The host or owner was friendly, and it was very affordable. If you want to try out a breakfast buffet Id say give it a shot.

If you want gross food and terrible service here’s the place for you. The new owners are causing this place to go to hell.

Absolutely disrespectful to my family: they refused to seat my brother and sister in law at our table because they showed up 5 minutes after we were sat, and they did not tell us they had shown up until we were paying our bill, mind you that bill was $140. When we tried to speak with the manager (at least a 50 year old man) about the situation he walked away from my grandfather and said “whatever dude, just leave” and then told my mother that the conversion did not play out as it did and proceeded to walk right passed her. I then spoked up and said “sir, you’re being disrespectful to my family,” he replied, “I don’t care, leave”.

We had a to-go order. Ribeye cooked to order, but could have used a little seasoning. Hash browns cooked just like I like them, crispy outside and mushy inside. Veg-barley soup was delicious. Lava cake was good, too. Hey chocolate and ice cream, of course it was good.
