Me and my wife went out for brunch, we have never been to this location only the one in Greenville, NC. We started off with mimosas one pineapple and one strawberry pineapple they both were great. The atmosphere was a good “vibe” the music they were playing was a good choice. The food we both got was shrimp and grits – one regular and one spicy and hot. I had to send mine back because it was toooo hot I couldn’t eat it. The staff was very friendly and understanding and told me the way to order it so that it has a little kick but not the heat. The Texas toast very buttery and nicely toasted, we ordered more (not pictured) the home potatoes were good as well. The overall experience was amazing and to find out that it is Black owned put a cherry on top .

I really do try to support blk businesses but the service here was trash. I was excited to come here to experience another good breakfast spot. The wait time was 45 minutes to get the food, our waitress was taking our drink order and then left in the middle of talking to clean off another table. One waitress with butt length weave’s hair was on our table as she was sitting another table, the lady busting the tables was frowned all up with an attitude, waitresses were forgetting people’s drink orders and walking away as they asked for other things, and at the end when we were paying, it ask you on a electronic survey about the service and our waitress decided to fill ours in with all good reviews and wouldn’t allow us to grade our own service. Who does this??? The food tasted good but the portions were tiny. $14 for a child portion. I ordered the trio and it came out in such a small portion that I thought for a second that it was the wrong meal. I’m sorry, but I cannot come back unless they get themselves together. You could tell that many tables were annoyed at the service and experience. The hostess was great and the background music was good. Other than that, it was just too unorganized and bad. There is no way that this restaurant will survive like this. I’m sure most of those people won’t be back. Hopefully this review gets to the owner since the waitress wouldn’t let me review my own experience smh.

The food was really good, nice and hot. Took a while to get it, though, and the restaurant wasn’t even packed. The host was nice enough, but we couldn’t differentiate him from any other person in the place because all of the staff were dressed on plain street clothes. Wearing a sort of uniform would be helpful. And the wait time for the food delivery could be lessened. The atmosphere was cool. There was a live DJ. Music was nice… just a tad bit loud for Sunday morning. But I still enjoyed it.

Do not I repeat do not go the breakfast bar In Wilson. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food for both orders to be wrong. Waitress acted like I wanted to borrow money because we asked for silverware. And it’s freaking freezing I’m there. First visit and last one at the same time. Don’t get me started on the cold looking grits. Man if we waited an hour the least u can do is melt the cheese.
