It’s only fitting that The Black Marlin opened for business in the historical Tustin Garage. When the Garage first opened back in 1915, customers got the full treatment. Attendants hurried to wait on each driver as they remained seated. It was all about service back then, and you’ll find it’s all about service now. We like to think of The Black Marlin as more than just a wonderful place to eat or be entertained. We make it our responsibility to make sure your experiences with us are memorable ones. Our promise to you is that we will always strive to reach and surpass your dining and entertainment expectations, and leave you with wonderful memories of the important days you decide to share with us. The Black Marlin is a place to go to relax with great people and food. The fish is always so fresh. The oysters are the best as well as the poke. I have not had poke as good in California as Hawaii. I love the Ahi in Hawaii, so i usually dont order it anywhere else, but the Marlin is the exception. There are Tv’s to watch your favorite sport. I really can not say enough about this restaurant.

Plenty of parking around the corner in the Jamestown Village (Honda Ya) and very good bartender. He’s busy but he’s on point with my Guinness pour. The seafood appetizers taste fresh and piping hot. Happy Hour is well worth the visit. Seats are grabbed fast, so just wait with a drink

Our family decided to do a family vacation for Christmas this year and made a reservation at The Black Marlin for dinner. We made a last minute reservation due to the fact that we didn’t know what would be open and what was around our hotel stay but we were lucky enough to get accommodated. The service was spectacular from the moment we walked in and left (thank you Bri). They had a Christmas menu, we ordered their clam chowder soup and pear & gargonzola salad for the first course. Clam chowder was just perfect and the salad was to die for. For the main course, we ordered the fresh Alaskan Halibut, scallops & shrimp, and wild king salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection, delicious, and warm. I accompanied my dinner with their dragonfruit margarita which was not sweet and delicious.

Great time and good at the Black Marlin. We love coming here. I haven’t had anything on the menu that I don’t like. The clam chowder is awesome. The scallops are cooked just right and the Brussels sprouts are delicious. The service is always on point and they have a great drink selection. Can’t wait to go back.

Started off with their creamy clam chowder- no dissapointments here. Then ordered the sunday prime rib special which was delicious; asked for medium, and it was perfect . Staff is attentive and brings refills without being asked. Looking forward to come back and try some of their seafood dishes.

Overpriced, low quality fish. Very dry and questionable taste. Got the feeling of a restaurant that may have been good at one point losing its way. Even the rice and iced tea had an off flavor to it. Service was standard but all 3 of our dishes left a lot to be desired.
