Anything locally owned is typically my favorite spot to go. Thai Place goes above and beyond. My family and I go out to eat every first day of the school year and this has become the traditional place for us to meet up and enjoy a family environment and great food. The menu is awesome and brings Thai delicacy that often gets over looked other places. I love this place!

I eat here once a year when I’m in town. I look forward to it each year, and I can’t wait till I go back! Everything here is amazing! I love the “Lovely Ginger”, but I’m always torn because there are so many delicious options. Any of the dishes can be made more or less spicy on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. I’ve never ventured past 4. A good choice if you’re not sure how spicy you want it is the “Name that Tune” dish. Half is spicy and half is lightly seasoned. If the spicy half is too much, just mix the two together. But there’s not a bad choice here.

I love this place. We mostly get take out but have eaten in restaurant several times as well. Service is always wonderful and welcoming and the staff is very friendly. The food is always amazing and we’ve never had something left out of our take out order like what has happened with most other restaurants at some point. One of my favorite places to eat!

Owner is awesome and absolutely hilarious! Introduced to the place by my parents after moving here. The owner knew them by sight and didn’t even need to ask what they wanted. I’m not a huge fan of Thai and this has become one of my favorite places to eat. Pad Thai is second to none!

My wife and I ordered take out from here. It was the first time I had eaten from this restaurant and went here because a co-worker of mine constantly talks about this place. I really enjoyed it. I called ahead close to an hour early just to check the hours and they went ahead and took my pickup order. Food was ready when I got there and was still hot when I got home. Can’t wait to have a sit down experience.

Having eaten Thai food all over the USA and throughout Thailand, I think I have good taste judgement for Thai food. I came to Thai Place for lunch with some friends and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and authenticity of the food. My lunch was without a doubt the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere in the USA and it rivaled the meals I’ve had in Thailand. But be warned, when you ask for your food to be “Thai hot” it will be THAI HOT!!! I’m still feeling the burn of the peppers (and loving every bite).

The table service and customer service is very bad. If you think the soup nazi from the show Seinfeld was hard to deal with you will be in for a shock. If your not there in the first hour of there small open hours then don’t expect to eat. When the cook is tired they close no matter the time, it could be 45 mins after open hours.

Thai Place in Millbrook, Alabama is the Crown Jewel of eating out in Millbrook. The food is prepared with heart, the service is personal and warm; Thai Place has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots in the River Region.

The food here is decent. I recommend to give it a try, if you manage to get around their horrendous schedules that they make up randomly each week, as well as their terrible service. You will be better off going to eat at the Thai food restaurant in Montgomery.

I don’t know WHERE all of these negative reviews are coming from. I work 100 yards from the Thai Place and frequently walk over for lunch. Everyone over there is wonderful and the food has never been anything but excellent. My only possible complaint is MY work schedule sometimes makes it difficult to get over there during their hours.
