This place is excellent at any location you happen to visit. The menu is well thought out and perfectly matches the bar spirit. Their John’s Island location is beautifully situated on Maybank highway surrounded by gorgeous trees and plenty of outdoor seating. Perfect for socializing with friends and family this place serves the role as a bar with great drink selection and high energy as well as a diner with tasty bites. The servers are always willing to help and are attentive even when busy. I love the variety on the menu so trying new things is easy. I had a Cobb salad that was so filling and well dressed. My husband and son each had a type of burger which they loved. Our daughter was able to enjoy chicken tenders and we all had our fair share of their legendary duck fat fries. I recommend anyone to come here and enjoy food and drinks with friends and possibly make some new ones too!

Very fun atmosphere with unique decor. Casual place but the food is excellent! I loved the chicken sandwich with pimento cheese. We ate at the bar and the bartender recommended the duck fat fries which we both really enjoyed. The live music made it even better and we’ll definitely come back for more drinks.

A great place for kids! They have a lot of outdoor seating and a great beer selection. We got the duck club and the Thanksgiving Sandwich. The Thanksgiving sandwich is great! I also really liked their corn.

I think this was a good restaurant, I just order the wrong food. However, the servers took the meal back twice and I was greatful for the hard try. The food that was great was the duck fat fries, the homemade pork skins and the hot wings. I think if you are in the area please try this place. Good music. Very good and friendly service. They aim to please.

Delicious food and friendly service. I had the duck sandwich and Mexican street corn (the corn is phenomenal). My husband had tattooed moose burger and duck fries. The last photo is a pickled green tomato. It was delicious!

We went for a late lunch on a Wednesday and enjoyed the spacious outdoor seating and parking in the shade for our dog. The server and staff were very sensitive and conscientious about my food sensitivities. I got the sandwich with duck confit and duck fat fries. My husband got the Cuban with pork skins. All were delicious!

If you don’t want to serve people, then tell them when they sit down AT THE BAR! I’ve lived here for a year and a half. Never treated this way! Watching a house a mile away, Come here for Dinner and a drink. Sit at the bar for 15 minutes before a drink and menu, then sit another 10 waiting to order while watching everyone else in the bar get what they want. I’m the one that left 7.00 on the counter because I couldn’t flag anyone down to give it to at 6:40I will never step foot in here again!

The food was really good. Mary was our waitress and was very friendly. Philly cheese steak egg rolls are so good!!!! We tried a cup of chili for an appetizer. The chili is filled w meat and perfect for this weather. I should have ordered a bowl to-go!!!(forgot to take photo of it)

We really wanted to like The Tattooed Moose – such a great concept. I do want to say first that our service was great and we were impressed with how quickly they brought our food to the table. Only complaint for service was our server brought us the wrong beers – we ordered draft beers and received a totally different one in a can that was already opened so we just decided to be nice and go with it. The food was a total disappointment. At least half of the pork rinds were so overdone you couldn’t even bite them. We got a basket of fries and it was mostly tiny little pieces of fries – clearly the end of the batch and they were also overdone. We loved the garlic sauce, but the fries were so small we couldn’t even dip them. Sandwiches were fine but nothing amazing. Our biggest complaint – live music from 3-6, so we intentionally planned our visit for after 6pm to avoid that…. The band decided to play longer and the music was so loud we literally had to yell at the person sitting next to us to be heard. We left ASAP (after 7) and won’t be back. Hope they can work on these things because it’s a cool place.
