Host service very polite upon arrival. Popular place we notice during our small wait for a table. Very cool atmosphere. Dark and moody. Not too loud to converse with your table. Menu is super fun. I love funky food. I so enjoyed the watermelon, pork belly salad with spicy dressing. Hushpuppies are delicious. Corn bread, yum. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. The char-grilled oysters are not like what you are served in New Orleans but they do have a nice flavor. Ordered the pickle berry pie to take home. Excited to try that. Highly highly recommend. Our favorite dinner in 6 days travel across the USA.

I had the shrimp and grits with the sausage on the side. My tastebuds were so happy. The collard greens had some kick, the sausage had a wonderful smoky taste, and the actual shrimp and grits were on point! My waiter, Raymond was super cool, too! I liked the funky artwork and decor as well. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in Tucson, maybe even this week!

I just realized I ordered hushpuppies to go and didn’t wait for them, so hopefully Raymond will be there next week and remember.

Great food, I got the parish burger, if you like red onions its a great burger. My dads steak and frites were the highlight of the table, super tender and juicy and fries were fluffy and crunchy. The Smoked chicken and waffles were great as well. Very nice environment, we could all talk without any issues. Very much recommend for a family or even a big party

f you are looking for something different but delicious to eat. The Parish is where you need to be. The food is very unique, flavorful and different than any other menu in town. Our favorites are “Drunken Angel”, “Chicken and waffles” and “Hush puppies”. The only thing I don’t like is that the place is small and it’s always full any day of the week. If you don’t have a reservation you might have to wait 40-60minutes.
To support my statement my husband and I were craving Hush Puppies for the past three weeks and we went like four times without reservation different days of the week and the wait time was 40-60min we didn’t have the time to wait. Last night we went again and the wait time was 30-45min we decided to wait. The food was delicious as usual.

I had the catfish and chips. It was amazing! My friend had the gumbo I tried it it was great. They hands down have the best hush puppies I’ve ever had in my life. I really don’t think I’ve had a hush puppy until visiting here cuz it was different and amazing. The service was amazing in the atmosphere is incredible. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Cajun Creole food!

As someone born in New Orleans, I can promise that The Parish is one of the best restaurants in Tucson for scratch-made, Southern-inspired food with a bold Cajun twist! This locally-owned gastropub delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and cocktails.

The drinks were impressive. The Sister Lost Soul (Tucson’s 2024 City of Gastronomy Cocktail of the Year) was smooth and layered, while the Mrs. KC Mule, made with house-infused strawberry basil vodka, elderflower, and ginger beer— was refreshing and bright.

We started with the Black & Blue Brussel sprouts, which had a great kick from the seasoning and blueberry hot sauce—crispy, smoky, and addictive. The Cast Iron Cornbread was fresh from the oven, perfectly crunchy on the outside with cinnamon and honey shining through, served with sweet bourbon butter. The Gumbo was hearty and deeply satisfying and the added Crawfish perfectly cooked. And the Drunken Angel pasta—Burgundy angel hair with shrimp, crawfish, lobster broth, saffron cream, and parmesan—was absolutely fantastic!

For dessert, the bread pudding was warm, rich, and decadent—the perfect to end to a Louisiana meal.

Our server Shawn was wonderful – friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. My water glass was never empty.

The Parish nails it with eclectic vibe, warm service, and unforgettable food. If you’re searching for where to eat in Tucson, this is it! Highly recommend!

I got the drunken angel which was very good. It does have a strong flavor so might not be for everyone. I thought the atmosphere was nice with a great looking bar and talented bartenders. Recommended.

After receiving so many glowing recommendations about this place I had to try it out for myself. I am glad I did. I arrived before closing time without a reservation. I didn’t have to wait long before I was seated. The food, service and atmosphere was good. I would definitely go back again!

My favorite restaurant of the year. The grilled ruby trout with smoked roe and hand cut fries was fantastic. The fish was perfectly grilled and the grilled lime was a nice complement. Each tiny roe filled your mouth with delicious smoky flavor. Delicious juicy fries. The Black and Blue Brussels Sprouts were excellent as well. I also really like the atmosphere (although the music was a bit too loud for my taste), and the service was super friendly. Can’t wait to come back soon.

UPDATE: I’ve come back many times and loved everything. The chicken and waffles is also exceptional.
