Desi Food in America
I have been a loyal customer of Taste of Sichuan for five years, and I must say that their food is of exceptional quality in terms of taste and presentation. As someone who enjoys spicy food, I was absolutely amazed when I first tried their dishes with numbing peppers. It was a flavor explosion that left me speechless.

This Chinese restaurant is the best. I’m constantly searching for the perfect moo goo gai pan and I found it here at Taste of Sichuan. The place gets crowded at dinner time but service is fast and the staff are attentive. The food here is delicious and I can’t wait to try their other dishes. By the way their steamed rice is cooked perfectly as well.

I love Taste of Sichuan! This was my second time trying it and my first time coming to eat in the restaurant. We were a large party of 9 but were seated immediately, AND it was super busy! I eat a lot of Sichuan cuisine as my family is from the Sichuan province, and it tasted very authentic. All the dishes were flavorful, delicious, and amazing. The portions are huge and priced really well. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Beaverton 🙂

The only restaurant that I will not miss for my trips to Oregon. Is it really so good? Hmm, if comparing to ChengDu’s, still gaps. However, over here, it still considered as great 🙂 One of my places that I will have dinners with my colleagueas. This week, I came here 3 times. One of the visit, I brought my Mexican friend, he enjoyed, though he said spicy… haha, the only time that he came here not for Kung Pao Chicken.

There’s a first time for everything. I spend a lot of time in the area and didn’t realize this place was even there. Thrilled with everything from the attentiveness, taste, speed of service all around.

Best food I’ve had in a long time! I got the orange flavored chicken, and it was covered in sauce but still crispy! Dumplings were fantastic, and potstickers are amazing!! I will definitely be back

The hours have a new policy they close at 9 pm ..but if you make it at 831 they dont let you in( they flat-out didn’t let me) , that is what just happened to me . We got to the hostess at 833, and she said pick up ? I said table for 2 , and she said we don’t serve after 830 , I said you close at 9 pm, and she said, “But we don’t let anyone in the restaurant other than pick up , at this point she didn’t even say hi , or good evening . I had the consideration of takeout, but literally 3 of 5 last times mild was spicy and medium was entirely not flavored . So, I choose not to wait 15 minutes for a pick-up that is consistently wrong. I would not recommend take outs from his place, and the service is a straight 2 .

Brought my grandma here after seeing Shen Yun. I had the Swimming Fire Fish. It was very good! The bowl they brought was way bigger than I was expecting. The fish and tofu both had a really nice texture. My grandma got some shrimp, and was pleased. They serve a Jasmine tea that is delicious!

My family and I are on vacation (a very rare thing for us) and we thought we’d spend the money on some really good food. We found this restaurant with good reviews. I received take out, chicken fried rice. It looked so good and there was a lot in each order! When we began to eat there was literally no flavor. It’s a real tease to see something that looks so good but taste blan. I’m a chef and it doesn’t take a chef to know they must have forgot to season the rice. I even tipped. I’m not trying to leave a bad review for any other reason than maybe it’s a reminder to season the food every time. We don’t have a lot of money so it was disappointing, however again not to be rude. Thank you.
