Great atmosphere and tasty food, but a piece of advice, dont get there after 8:30 pm. We had driven an hour to go here. Our first visit with my husband and another couple. We arrived around 8:40 pm. We sat outside and were immediately charmed with the atmosphere. Our server was very upbeat and polite, but we were subjected to closing activities all around. We will be back and try to get there earlier for a more relaxing experience.

I went towards closing time on a patio perfect evening. My burger had a nice taste, but my fries were cold. My server was very friendly but not attentive, as I had to twice ask others for refills on my drink. This was VERY minor and the patio had been full, so somewhat understandable. Lots of large groups, families and couples. I dined here years ago when it was called Vinnie’s, but Eddie’s is much better. Great place for a casual bite, especially nice when temperatures are in the 70s and the sun is setting at the lake.

Past experiences have ALWAYS been up to par. The burnt bread was a turnoff. You be the judge. I did ask for a replacement. Server was stunned that I asked for a replacement and with attitude granted my request. They must have been out of sweet tea too because I asked for it, twice, and never received.

I’ve been here several times over the years. I am rarely on this side of town. But sometimes, I decide to stop by. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. The service and the views of the lake were good. But, the food was not as good as I remembered. The salad was kind of basic. The salmon was bland. The coconut shrimp were good but looked like they came out of a box, although I can’t be for certain. Go here for the views and service.

This was the first time that I had been here. It sits on Lake Norman outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. The wait time was 1 hour due to it being Mother’s Day, and it was packed. The weather was beautiful, so we had brunch inside of the restaurant instead of out on their patio.There was a live band out on the patio.We asked to be seated outside, but we couldn’t because “management” said that our party of “nine” wouldn’t make it fair to the other wait staff and they held those tables for another server with a party with less people. The food was great. I opted for their Mother’s Day Brunch special stuffed flounder with seasonal vegetables and She-Crab soup.Overall, it was a great day. The wait staff were courteous as well as the customers I would consider going back.
