Well this place did not disappoint. We were quite pleased with our last minute decision to go here. It’s on the outskirts of historic downtown Mansfield. It’s clean and sparsely decorated. Our waitress was attentive and the food was fantastic. We started with queso which was addictive. It was so good. I got the soft tacos and my friend got the chili relleno. It’s the best I tried. The sopapillas were different than what I’m used to but they weren’t bad. Looking forward to another visit.

So this was a driving down Main Street. Oh let’s go here type of evening. We did have a little something to celebrate, but it is always vibe to just find random places that you’ve never been before and just pop in which is what this was. So from top to bottom when we got in it was about seven-ish it was completely empty. No one was in the restaurant we were the only ones in there there were may be 15 or so minutes and then a family came in then two separate one tops. Now in my scoring, we of course had several different things but basically safe stuff that you know you’re going to kinda like we ordered a fajita platter a chicken quesadilla plate a six pack of tamales. They only had pork we had the loaded queso and sopapillas as well as a to go burrito the Jalisco, burrito I believe. All in all the server she was honestly great taking care of everybody by herself it was never a situation of there being food that was cold or not coming back to the table with something every time it was great she was amazing she was taking care of a dining room essentially of 10 people by the time everything was said and done, now the atmosphere. It was of course dead, but it didn’t give the vibe of your typical eatery you know where it’s at least a little something going on a TV, some music or anything going on the obnoxious family that came in while we were getting appetizers down was honestly the only yet disruptive thing, but it was some activity so from there the food itself. Honestly, we have definitely had better that we would in any other situation. If it were an option, this would not be it ever again but if you’re in a pinch and literally right There, there are still other options that honestly would beat them out just because on a whole fajita platter there were only three tortillas. Corn tortillas are already small so you would think that you would have a couple more but nope then on the sopapillas I understood that they were waiting on truck so they didn’t have any honey for them so that was understandable as well But then when it came to the tamales them only having the pork option God forbid I be one of those people that don’t eat pork that would’ve just like you know deterred me but honestly they weren’t the most flavorful either so that was kind of disappointing. When you know you can literally get them in certain areas out of the parking lot and they’re amazing now the fajita platter honestly, same situation. It was mostly onions. And the onions were all burned. None of the peppers that you would associate with the fajita platter were included. It was just all onions and maybe a half a cup of the chicken and the beef which may be standard for the size but that would make sense as to why they were only three tortillas when it came to the quesadilla. It was a pretty solid, safe option but they remind you of the quesadillas at like taco cabana you aren’t getting like a fresh fluffy big quesadilla like for instants you would find at los Molcajete, just for comparison, the rice and beans weren’t flavorful, but they were definitely solid. They travel well the next day vibe of everything definitely came together a little bit. Maybe it’s one of those it needs to sit in all the flavors coming together, but for the most part, it’s not a second visit for us, but we definitely Enjoyed the service. She was very sweet!

DO NOT GET THE CARNE ASADA. It was more like unseasoned beef jerky. Rice is terrible. Beans had no flavor. However, the chicken suizas enchiladas were VERY GOOD.

A calm relaxing place to sit back after a long walk around Downtown Mansfield. They have a patio with plenty of space for people to sit outside when the weather is beautiful. Just keep in mind to have patience for the waiters as they are a bit occupied when it comes to rush hour. The waiters are the best and I love their attendance and nice conversations, a perfect 100. The corn tortillas are homemade and are deliciosos. A plate i must recommend y’all is the “Chilaquiles de Pollo”, a must dish that you should try and you won’t regret it.

Used to go here many years ago and it was amazing. Got the chance while in town to drop in. Very busy but no long wait, food was excellent, and service deserves every bit of the 5 stars. Will definitely be back.

Food was ok but the Cheese and Bean Nachos tasted different than what my son is used to. Rice was good. Refried Beans was okay. Taco was good. Cheese Enchilada didn’t have much taste. Kids Chicken Nuggets was hard. We couldn’t get Refills.. Ticket was never brought to our table. I went to register our dinner was rang up without me ever seeing my bill. I didn’t like this. Chips with Salsa was tasty.. I’m not sure I will ever come back even though they have Lunch Specials, great prices on Kids Meals and regular prices. Staff made us feel invisible..

Ordered 2 cheese Enchilada plates & order of corn tortillas. Wife and I. 30 minutes one plate arrived, waitress said she’d be right back. Food was not hot at all. 5 minutes passed and I asked another waiter about our other plate. Said he’d check. 5 minutes later, the waitress came back. Said we ordered 2 Enchiladas and that’s what we got. I explained again that we ordered two plates…2 Enchiladas per plate. She asked if we wanted to order another plate of 2 Enchiladas. One bite off the original plate and it’s real cold now. We just said we’d leave. Left a tip. Manager got us at our car. Had to pay $1.50 for the tortillas. Food was not that good at all. Headed to Mercado Juarez now. No more visits to Jalisco’s.

I wish I could rate this place but I didn’t even get to make it to the food. We were standing in their waiting area for close to 10 mins and no one came over to even take our names. Mind you this place was half full with empty tables. Once someone was paying the lady ask who was next and sat them. Thinking they would come back for the rest of and they never did. Instead, she looked our way and walked in the back. True bad service, couldn’t even put us on a wait list.

Delicious food and awesome patio space! I had the guisado res picante it was so flavorful and pretty spicy I really enjoyed it! Even the table salsa has a kick to it!! I love the mix between authentic mexican food and tex mex as it is a great crowd-pleaser! Prices range from $3-15 for a lot of food! The fajitas were yummy too!
