If you love good food and cold beer, you’ll love this place. Yeah, it’s kind of of dive bar/restaurant, but those of us who love authentic Mexican food and local bars would have it no other way. Love this place – will stop when ever I’m traveling through Dalhart.

This is our absolute go to place to eat in Dalhart. Martine is friendly and has the best food in town by far. I normally stick to a dish I like but I have been trying new things every visit and seems the dishes keep getting better and better. It’s casual dining, a laid back place. We come in at least twice a month. There are also pool tables and boom box available for use next door. Beer and mixed drinks available as well

Thus place is definitely a little gem worth visiting! We were passing thru town and not finding too many places to eat and decided to try El Paisano. Both my husband and I completely enjoyed our food! The service was fabulous pretty sure the owner was taking care of us and made it a great experience, very friendly and fun to be around!! We will be sure to stop by next time we are traveling . I highly recommend you to give this place a try. A little “hole in the wall” worth your time.

Driving through town and wanted some food. Saw this place and the reviews were decent. However there was no one in the place at 7:00 on a Saturday night. This should have told us enough to turn around and walk out. But we preserved and had decent food. The chips were cold and stale, but the entree’s were mostly good. Some excess grizzle in the carne asada was disappointing. The bathrooms were disgusting, we ended up going back into town to find gas station bathrooms. Will not stop back by.

This place was so delicious!!! The flavor was amazing. Ordering drinks was a little slow but one guy was doing a lot. I don’t understand Dalhart and the fee to have alcohol drinks but this place offers a membership. Alcohol Drinks were $10 beers were $3. It cost $100 for 3 of us but we had drinks.
