Another gem in the Northwoods! I was the first one their tonight so was able to chat with the owner. Come to find out it was established in 1937 and one side was a bowling alley in it’s day. I had a very good Old-fashioned or two at the bar. I ordered the broiled Scallops ” you get 6, I forgot to take a picture when they came . Along with 2 sides. Salad and home made pasta cream soup and a warm loaf of bread. The scallopes were cooked perfectly and the soup was wonderful. The atmosphere was very Supper Club and clean. Then for dessert I had a very good Brandy Alexander at the bar and chatted with some of the locals. Next time in the area I will be stopping again.

Friendly staff. Very unique late 70s rustic decor. Old but clean. Reasonable prices and generous portions.
Fried cheese curds were great. Pan fried walleye was subtlety flavored, but perfectly cooked.
Way waaay too much food to finish.

It was Friday Night Fish Fry and the place was hopping. We knew to expect a wait for our large table even with reservations. This place reminded me of how things were up north in the 80s. People having fun, a great bar tender, excellent drinks, fabulous fish fry, and a server who cared. Thanks for the great evening!

The staff and food were both excellent! Had the special of night “pasta flight” and it was plentiful, each type of pasta was great with a butternut squash ravioli, bolognese and a shrimp with gnocchi! I had the French onion soup which was delicious. Definitely the best restaurant around for miles to enjoy a wonderful relaxing dinner with a glass of wine or beer.
They have specials every night. I hear their prime rib is delicious too. Sufficient parking on site.

This is a classic northern Wisconsin family run supper club. They focus on fish, chicken, pork, etc. Friday fish fry and Saturday Prime. They just started a blue gill option. Blue gill is my favorite. They use a fairly heavy beer batter, would have liked it a little lighter but still really good and will order it again. I paired it with hash browns, curds, and beer cheese soup (healthy I know.) Wife loved her chicken salad with walnuts, strawberries, and blue cheese. They have good desserts and they have a large adult ice cream drink selection that would make most supper clubs proud. Really friendly service so we will be back again.

Started the evening with an Evan Williams Cherry Old Fashioned and enjoyed the 2-piece cod fish fry. It was delicious! Perfectly crisp and the fish was moist and tender. We’ll be back on our next visit to town.

They have some very good things. But, I ordered the scallops. They were all overcooked and rubbery and hadn’t been clean appropriately.

Went out to eat tonight and was served the thinnest ribeye I’ve ever seen in a restraunt. Was not good either, took two bites then left. Wait staff didn’t offer any solutions. Also we had to wait 20 minutes before our order was taken for some reason.

Old-timey lodge dinner for Wisconsin comfort foods. We had the Norwegian Salmon with Dijon sauce and tenderloin which were all solid choices. I really enjoyed the relish tray which had pickled beets and pickled beans. The bread was soft and delicious.
