A few weeks ago I traveled from Illinois to Nicholasville, KY. I arrived in Kentucky at the hotel a bit late due to a long work day and travel time. I searched for a relatively close bar/pub for a few beers to decompress from a long day. I went to Momma’s Tap House. The folks and staff were amazing. Service was great. Even though it was evident I wasn’t from the area (wearing a Michigan Wolverine sweatshirt), I was welcomed and made a few friends… most notable was Boston Bobby. We planned on getting together the next evening with a Boston friend of mine who lives in Richmond, KY. Then the storm came which knocked out the power. I’ll see you folks when I’m in Kentucky next year.

Haven’t been here in awhile but it never disappoints. If you’ve ever been to Milwaukee, the best bars are in homes in the neighborhood. Here, there’s pool, music, giant Jenga, back patio and of course, Momma (Tish) great lineup of draft. Beers and bourbon. Tonight’s music wAS FANTASTIC! Thanks Garrick Howell.

Awesome place, great drink specials and very friendly staff. Easily one of my favorite places. The only reason why I give a 4 star as opposed to a 5 star is because the bar plays non stop country music with no other genres unless you pay for it on the juke box, then it goes right back to country.

Nice pool tables and bar in a cute house with a cozy atmosphere. Cornhole and a nice yard and patio with heaters out back. Sometimes they have live music which is nice.

So happy to have found this bar! This place has everything, nice staff, super welcoming and friendly! Also live music! Need I say more?! Not only is this close to home but it’s just an all around great place. The back deck is perfect! I can’t wait till the spring/summer. Also they have great beers on tap, just visit you won’t regret it.

Came down from Indiana to visit friends and stopped in because Momma ran a great bar we went to a couple years back. We loved this bar even more! Great set up, atmosphere and service.
