This is the most authentic Korean restaurant I ever tried in the US so far! You can tell because all the customers are Asian (mostly Korean)! We all ordered soups (ox bone and ox tail) and the broth was so smooth and no fishy smell at all. Same thing for their fish & pork dishes! They are all cooked from fresh ingredients so it took a bit time but it was worth it to wait for freshly cooked food instead of re-heating the food! All the servants were kind but they tend to speak all in Korean so be aware of it if you don’t speak the language, but they provide pictures menus so it helped a lot for my non-Korean friends to order food. I was quite disappointed about their side dishes compared to other places. They only had four and they were okay. I might come back just for the soup for take-out, but not dine-in again.

Man. Ox tail soup is to die for. Also the seafood pancakes. Definitely a must! Spicy pork bellies were drool worthy too!

Tang Maru is my favorite Korean restaurant around this area! Definitely recommend their special pork belly & oysters with Napa cabbage wrap. They also have several Korean stews & hotpot’s, which are all amazingly delicious. If you like the rice bowl, try their hot stone bibimbop.

Service is that not great here. They try and take away your utensils. When we got one plastic fork there was dirt on it. The price is a little expensive. Not much people come here. The food does come fast which is good. If you come here you should get the OX BONE SOUP. This place is a little big for a little bit amount of customers. Otherwise I recommend coming here only if your around the area.

The Gamja Tang was really watery and didn’t include much vegetables at all. The Jeyuk dish didn’t have much meat either and wasn’t as flavorful as other restaurants. I’d assume whoever makes these dishes haven’t tried the food themselves recently—otherwise they would have picked up that something isn’t right. Won’t be ordering again. Do not recommend as there are better places than this.

We’ve been looking for a quality soup place around this area, every time we go somewhere recommended, we weren’t impressed. However this place has the best beef broth based soup!! It is very similar to quality soup we had in Korea, this place will be our family’s favorite restaurant from now on. Service was also great, they gave an extra soup and noodle for our little daughter and extremely kind.
