The food is good. Only thing is when they have the kids answer the phone they get your order wrong. I paid extra for cheese and sour cream and I did not receive it on my tacos. I’ve been here about 5 times, 2 times my order was wrong, both time a child (minor) answered. The taco dinner meal went from 16 dollars to 20 dollars in that time span of me going there. I get the same thing on my tacos no matter where I go. So it wasn’t a change in what I ordered.

A friend invited me but I will surely not return. The tamales were barely warm. The chips were not fresh. I ordered a gordita and the masa was not fully cooked. The gordita did not come with beans. I had to ask for silverware and was given a package used for carryout. I had to get up to request napkins and salt, as well as limes.

South East of Chicago is full great Mexican food! Stumbled upon this place after a day of hiking, and it was delicious! They took the time to tell us what was in each taco, and everything from the chips to their homemade salsas to the tacos were amazing! The rice and beans were also homemade and delicious.

Really good steak tacos and great service. Been a while since I got lettuce and tomatoes on a taco which was a nice surprise. Used to onions and cilantro on them. Will definitely come back and recommend this place of you are in the area.
