First time eating here…..BIG FAN!!! The full order of Ultimate Nachos is big enough for two!! Their chips are seasoned with a Hispanic spice. They use Vidilia onions. Love it!!! No need to add anything to the tacos. The meat is well seasoned and juicy, negating the need for salsa. The taco shells are chalupa shells. VERY tasty!!!! Definitely worth the wait. The positive, the store is super clean and the people are fun and friendly. On the flip side, it is expensive and for what you get it wasn’t really worth $5, was just a flower tortilla with a small slim fried chicken strip about the size of your thumb and twice as long, some honey (which made a huge mess) and a little lettuce. The chips were very unique, we had not had chips like that anywhere else (and probably a good reason). Bunch of smaller broken ones completely unusable for dipping. The 1/2 order of nachos wasn’t too bad, I think that was sour cream on top, didn’t really taste like it and had the consistency of caulking. now the sopapilla’s were amazing. Overall the meal was ‘ok’, nothing special or delicious, just bland. Our meal as shown came to $30, 95% chips that were just not very good, queso not really good either. Now directly across the street is an Applebee’s where you can get 2 for $29 appetizer w/ meals that will leave you quite satisfied. just is what it is, there is no value here that we saw. As for feeding the children, T4L reports they donate $0.24 cents of each item to the cause. So we donated $.50 cents out of our $30 tab. Sure doesn’t sound like a lot, mind you they “donate one meal for each meal purchased”. Do you really know what that means? What size is this ‘meal’ and what is their definition of this ‘meal’? You get your regular meal and the starving children get a rice/soy/veggie packet (from the T4L web site). Not the same ‘meal’ you would expect.

Ordered the Mahi Mahi Taco and Shrimp taco with chips and salsa. Tacos were decent but nothing extraordinary, especially when I paid $5 each. Chips and salsa were pretty good.

Not impressed! Meat was ice cold, shells were torn in half, ordered the beef street tacos, didn’t expect it to be ground beef and cold. Chips and queso was good. I won’t be returning.

I’ve had better tacos at a gas station! The food is mid and way overpriced for the experience. They were out of several menu items including fountain drinks and charged us extra for their punch, but it wasn’t bad. We ordered the chip trio and Mahi tacos, neither were that great. I gave it 2 stars because the good thing is they are feeding hungry children in 3rd world countries. @Tacos4life, thanks for your reply but I know what I tasted. No need to follow up. Thanks again.

Great tacos and a great cause. Tins of great choices. The tacos are super filling. I got 2 but could barely finish one. The Chipotle steak was amazing, and the mango habanero was very spicy. The sopapilla was cooked perfectly. All super delicious.

I had placed a taco bar catering order for 30 people from the Blue Springs location. Ashley, who took my order, answered each my questions patiently in detail, and she was and careful to make sure we had everything we needed. Julie who delivered our order did a super job; showed up on time and made sure the boxes and containers didn’t spill. We had plenty of food (two meats + all the sides) and it arrived hot and ready to serve. Tasted great! Everyone was pleased. Would recommend for large group catering.

Food is hit or miss. I’m not a vegetarian but often order veggie options when dining out. My boyfriend picked up the tofu tacos for me and they were so spicy I couldn’t eat them. I had previously had a chicken taco there, which was good, but I feel like things are overly spiced, and not in a good way. Chips can also be overwhelmingly spiced, which if I had a picky child with me I would assume would be a safe food for them, but it isn’t.

For the money and little amount of food , my “super nachos ” was a handful of chips , a scoop of sauce and 4 litlle pieces of chicken that I had to pay a additional $3 when added, absolutely will not be going back again , almost $50 and we ended up having to eat again in a hour because we were still hungry. I could have went to a actual Mexican restaurant twice and got plenty of food for that money. Don’t waste your time or money.
