It is a very cozy place. Beautiful ambiance. We weren’t aware that we needed to make a reservation to be able to sit and eat. The gentleman that was working was able to get us a table. I noticed that there was a large table reserved for a party of 6 that did not seem to show up. Anyway, the atmosphere was nice. We ordered our food, Chicken biscuit sandwich and chicken and waffle. We had to wait about 40 min for our food but we expected that since everything was cooked to order. When we got our food it had nice portions. My husband got the chicken & biscuit which was a nice size. Large portion. My food wasn’t ready yet so I ate some of his. The chicken was tasty. When I received my plate I was surprised to see that I had a large waffle with chicken wings on top. I was expecting chicken fingers. I was later told that they had run out of chicken fingers. I wish I knew before they substituted with wings. I had been eating wings all week and was looking forward to the fingers. Anyway I began eating and found that the wings were under cooked and the waffle was wet and doughy in the middle. I think maybe the batter was too thick. I was very disappointed and ended up throwing the waffle away and took the wings home to cook a little longer. I was very disappointed in the food and I don’t know if I will go back anytime soon. I do hope that if and when I go back that I can give a better review. I would really like to support this establishment. I still recommend you check it out. Maybe I was just there on an off day. The two workers in the kitchen seemed to have a disagreement about something so maybe there was a little tension between the two.
I had enough leftovers for 2 days!!! The owners were so kind. We sat their for a few hours bec it felt like home!!!
