I’ve always wanted to try this place due to Triple D poster, he would be very upset his name is affiliated with this business.

Had a great experience! Yes, there were some dirty tables, and we did have to wait a little (not too long) for our food, but it is only one woman trying to do everything by herself. She is great! The food was really good, especially the puffy chicken tacos.

Wow! I used to frequent this restaurant 20 years ago and it was amazing. Unfortunately, my visit today was the worst food I’ve ever had. In fact, we left 95% of our food on the table and I won’t be surprised if we die from food poisoning tonight. I don’t have any other words for how terrible it was. Biggest waste of my money.

Broke down near by and was happy to see this place. Paid $12.95 for 2 tacos and 1 sweet tea. All 3 were disgusting. No cook was in the kitchen I think I was given reheated food. DSHS needs to visit this place!

The food was palatable but I think that I was expecting better than what I got. Maybe it’s the “after covid” expectation of many food service establishments. One thing for sure the one person that was in the establishment was very friendly and deserving of a complimentary gesture. The place is in good standing with the “best tacos” title let’s hope that you can continue to hold that title in the future.

Ordered a potato egg with bacon taco and it only had three pieces of potatoes in it. Asked for guacamole without onions, guac had onions in it. Tacos are ok but really overpriced. There are better options in San Antonio at a lower cost. Paid $24 for 6 tacos and three drinks dine-in.

I used to love coming here with my daughters 20 years ago. Today it seemed like a good idea to bring a friend from Austin to brag about “real” tacos. YIKES! It was filthy, smelly, the tortillas are NOT tortillas (more like pita bread) and the beef in my taco was scarce. I left shamed, disappointed and hungry!

We drove from Wichita, KS because we had seen Taco Taco on Triple D. We were NOT disappointed. Helen was so gracious and inviting. She is a true treasure. The warm handmade tortillas were amazing! The puffy tacos and retried beans were stellar. We tried a barbacoa and fiesta taco too. So delicious!!! You can feel the care she puts in her food.

I’m sorry to leave 1 Star, if possible I would leave a negative 10 stars! This is place is an absolute joke. What does a Greek woman know about Mexican food! Take down that sign for false advertisement!
