Has the best American Chinese food in town, even better than the non-kosher places. The sesame chicken was super crispy and fresh, and the sauce had complexity, didn’t just taste like sugar. Sushi was fresh, as well. Beware that tip is automatically added, I don’t like that because it sometimes seems like a trick for people to double-tip.

Extremely limited gluten free options. They cook with regular soy sauce and make no accommodations by having tamari in the house – if I want to order sushi I have to remember to bring my own tamari. The Mei Fan, which I’ve had 5 times, is decent. Unfortunately this is one of my kids’ favorite restaurants, but Taam Thai not caring about people with a sensitivity to gluten is truly getting on my nerves.

I was in the area and this is my first time coming here. I was excited to get the drunken noodles based on the restaurant having almost a five star review. When I received the order, it didn’t look like the traditional drunken noodles and after tasting it, it tasted nothing like drunken noodles. It didn’t really have any spice or flavor. However, it didn’t taste bad. It just was not what I had expected so for that reason I have to give it a two star. The green leafy stuff in the fish did not taste like basil. If you’re coming here specifically looking for that classic drunken noodle taste, I would not recommend it.
