On the way elsewhere and caught the Mud Bug on the wall of the outside and stopped in. DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Cozy place with very friendly folks. The owner is former military and a very gracious man. The gumbo was the best we have ever tasted. Shrimp and grits were creamy and shrimp cooked well. Veggies were all cooked perfectly. Sausage had great flavor. All food was seasoned to perfection. Really enjoyed it and will be returning.

Awesome po boy shrimp sandwich that was loaded with shrimp, n raw oysters were delicious. Waitress was a beautiful sweet lady n very nice n helpful with menu n selection n gumbo as a side was spot on! Had to break it into two meals to eat it all.

I order the gumbo, waitress asked me how it was, I told her there was no shrimp in it. She said she was sorry. I told her I was sorry too. Sorry I came in to try it out. $7.48 for gumbo, less the shrimp. Not for me. $$$$$ very pricey.
