First time trying this amazing restaurant. It is definitely a hole in the wall place but service is great. Food was delicious and it is reasonably priced! We made a reservation and when we got there, only two cars in the parking lot. So we asked if we could sit early and we could. Our waitress, Susan was very nice and prompt. I got the chai tea, I definitely recommend! My grandmother got the eggs benedict. She said that she has never had better, very good! I got the French toast on brioche. It was delicious! It was such a beautiful atmosphere, and around noon more people decided to come. I would definitely come here again!

What a gem! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Got the shrimp and grits after reading reviews and the waitress’ recommendation. Was not disappointed, best ever shrimp and sauce over the creamiest grits!

A disappointing dining experience and poor service. We had checked the menu in advance, but when we arrived the menu was different. There were no vegetarian entrees and when inquired were informed that the chef “could make some rice.” Two ordered just salad (finding nothing else) and the other the special. After more than an hour of waiting and seeing every other diner be served with no acknowledgment from our server, we got up to leave. They announced that we could not leave without paying for our meals as the special was expensive ($60 – twice the cost of other menu items). We didn’t want to make a bigger scene so we sat back down. The Caesar salads were equivalent to a grocery store bagged salad but we ate them because we were hungry. The special was good but not exceptional. They claimed our meal was much delayed because the special takes a long time to prepare, something they did not tell us in advance. Had we known about the time delay or the price, we would not have ordered it. The server then told us “sorry you had a bad experience” and gave us the check in full for the meal. We are not particular diners and have never before gotten up to leave a restaurant, so this was a memorably bad experience!

This is the only restaurant I have ever eaten at where I tried to walk out before the food was served. When we arrived, we asked about several items on the online menu that were not on the menu in the restaurant. Our server was incredibly rude and told us that we should have looked at the menu on Open Table, that is the only menu that is right. Apparently, the restaurant’s own website is wrong. All of the vegetarian items on the online menu were unavailable leaving only the Caesar salad as an option. Two people in the group ordered this and it was limp iceberg lettuce with Pepperidge Farms croutons. It was not good. I ordered the Beef Wellington and it took more than one hour to be cooked. I was charged two times as much for it as every other item on the menu. We tried to leave because our food took so long and we were told that whether we ate the food or not we would have to pay. I told the waitress I was pregnant, had waited too long, and felt ill. She did not care and would not let us leave. This was the absolute worst dining experience I have ever had. The staff was very rude, the Caesar salads were awful, the staff was not upfront about the cost of the food, and we were basically barred from leaving the restaurant without paying full price. No discounts or apologies were made at any time. Do not patronize this place.

The cocktails are exquisite! The old fashioned that Susan prepares is the best! She is an experienced server, so sweet and attentive. The food is so fresh and delicious, this restaurant is a must stop here in St Michaels or Easton. The selection of hot teas is amazing!

Staying in St. Michaels, I was on the hunt for a unique dining experience. After reading some reviews we decided to give T at the General Store a try. Quaint, homey, friendly, and downright delicious. The absolute best Mashed Potatoes, sorry mom yours are still good.

Found this place while on vacation last week. This was one of the more memorable meals I’ve had in a long while. The service was great especially considering there was only one lady serving the entire place that night. She ran that place like a well oiled machine. The food that night was excellent and was on another level compared to any of the other restaurants in the Easton/Cambridge area.
