Went to get the buffet for dinner, but sadly it was only until 1:30pm that day. We still decided to sit down and order. Let me say for one woman waiting on all 4 tables she was doing a fantastic job. Crab Rangoons were hot, fresh and delicious! I ordered the orange chicken combo meal and it was so much food for just under $10 before tax! I couldn’t even finish more than a few bites and it was amazing! My daughter and mom loved it as well, will definitely be back again.

The Szechuan is everything you would expect from a hometown restaurant. They do not have sushi, the biggest draw back for me. The buffet has a nice but small variety of dishes. I really enjoyed the almond chicken. My partner liked the sweet egg rolls. Parking can be tricky during farmer markets or other local events.

The staff is very nice and responsive. The food ordered (lunch special, was just stir fried veggies and fried rice with an egg roll though I excluded it as it contains pork) was alright. Not super flavorful but the vegetables were fresh and cooked well. There is a vegetarian section of the menu with a few items, though the lunch buffet (which everyone there seemed to order and enjoy) had mainly chicken items. The buffet seemed a deal at about $7 though. Portion size was nice as well especially for the lunch special price.

Can’t go wrong with szechuan. Not a bad dish on the menu, will even customize to your teasts. i like the spicy but they have it all. Hot and Sour soup, spicy glazed chicken, egg roll and hot tea mmmmmm. Also buffet and an ice cream machine. Definitely give it a try. Thanks Mary, keep up the good work.

There’s a time and a place for different types of Chinese food. Szechuan Inn fills the niche of “may not have super complex flavors, but I’ll get 3 meals out of my 9 dollar order.” Owners super nice people, menu has a lot of options.

If you want true Chinese food, this is the place to go. Their food is out of this world. They have a noon and supper buffet along with a menu you can order off of. You can either dine in or take it to go. Their prices are very reasonable for their amazing food. The service is always above and beyond. This is the best Resturant around NW Iowa. It is family owned and ran. The family is super nice and they make their customers feel like close friends. The Resturant is always nice with plenty of places to sit. Once you eat here you will become a regular on the spot.
