This place is absolutely adorable. The ice cream is top notch and the army of high school students and occasional person over 20 who work there are amazing and so kind. They have vegan ice cream, sugar free ice cream, and normal ice cream that isn’t different than the standard. It is incredible quality and the place is amazing. 10/10 recommend bringing your family and enjoying some amazing ice cream.

We had Sweet Ride come to my son’s 1st birthday party and it was fantastic!! Such a big hit with everyone! The ice cream is so delicious and the service is unmatched! They are such a pleasure to work with and very reasonably priced! Going into their shop in West Reading or having them come to you for any event is always worth it!!

Amazing ice cream and water ice! Was real busy with a line out the door when we stopped but the line went extremely quick. Very friendly staff and cool atmosphere that gives the feeling of an old time ice cream shop between the decor and the outfits worn by the employees. Also, they have ice cream flights which include 2 different flavors if you’re not sure what kind to get. It’s a nice idea but you dont get a lot of each flavor so may not be enough if that’s all you’re getting. You can also request a sample while in line. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for some ice cream and looking for a cool experience with the family or on a date.

Love this place for the atmosphere and variety. The mint chocolate chip with large and plentiful dark chocolate chips is amazing and the best I’ve had anywhere hands down! Yes, it might get crowded but usually moves quickly. And isnt really great ice cream worth the wait?

Delicious!!! I love their aesthetic indoors and outdoors. It’s super cozy and gives very 50s-60s vibes, creating a warm aura in the entire place. It’s very spacious and friendly inside. The employees are super sweet and accommodating, they do a nice job. The pricing is very average and fairly inexpensive. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a good treat!

I booked the Sweet Ride Ice Cream truck for my Lancaster wedding in Nov 2022 and we absolutely loved their friendly customer service and delicious treats! The booking process, handled by Angie was simple and easy. Very nice people to work with. The ice cream truck showed up on time and all of my guests were excited to grab a cone or dish. Everyone raved about how delicious each flavor was…the seasonal favorite being salted caramel! I cannot recommend this company enough for anyone planning their wedding and looking for a dessert food truck.

Cute little ice cream parlor in downtown West Reading. There’s often a line out the door but it usually goes quickly. The staff is young (high schoolers) but very professional and friendly. You can tell they have a good corporate culture there. The ice cream itself is very good, maybe not the best I ever had but very good and better than anything else around here. They have vegan options as well which I like is very inclusive. I haven’t tried their sugar free options before but it would be nice to have like a banana “nice cream” or something on the healthier side. And yes, I know if you are into health food maybe an ice cream parlor isn’t the place to go, but the rest of the family wants regular ice cream would be nice to have an option for more health conscious people. Also, more outdoor seating would be nice but I’m sure they are only allowed a small section in front of their store.
