I’ve been here a few times and have loved their cakes and muffins. Today I came in for a muffin and coffees and tried the lavender honey iced latte and it was amazing. Also the customer service was amazing. Emma is the best and most kind and real. Best customer service I’ve had, she needs the biggest raise.

I do not leave reviews as often as I should but my daughter/her boyfriend stopped on Saturday 4/1 to pick up a birthday cake for me. I was a cake decorator for about 22 years and I have to say this cake was by far the most delicious cake I have ever had. Since I do not do cakes anymore, we normally will get our cakes from a bakery in Newark. Which also has really great cakes, but still does not compare to this. We will be going to Sweet Melissa‘s moving forward. My name is Melissa, so they get bonus points for the name of the business.

This place was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was nice. That had a tone of pastries, ranging from macarons to cupcakes, even while cakes. They also had quite a few gluten free options as well! I also got a latte and a drip coffee that were pretty good.

My friends decided to get me a coffee today from here and they didn’t have the flavor I wanted so my friends decided to have Emma surprise me and she came up with a Lavender Honey Latte. The absolute best thing she could’ve made. It was so amazing and refreshing and sweet. My friends said she had the best customer service and was so kind and wonderful. Thank you so much!! 10/10

I have shopped at the bakery several times. When I pop in for a treat, it seems to work fine for them. When I try to plan an event, I have several times bumped up against their process. It is not customer centered, it is their process centered. I find this to be unnecessarily disruptive and a big put off. Recently, I just tried to order a tray of cupcakes for a party. Big rigmarole and run around. Back-and-forth several times. In the end, they ghosted me and I ordered the cupcakes from another vendor. It shouldn’t be so difficult.

If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to go. They have a variety of bake goods in the store everything from cupcakes two big round cakes to the cake rolls so many sweet stuff around the store. I do have flavor coffee for you with many choices also some sugar-free syrup for your coffee.

So I stopped here thinking it was just a little coffee shop. It is one of the nicest bakeries I’ve seen. They have something for everyone. Gluten free, nut free, vegan, bubble tea, coffee. Plus it’s a one stop birthday shop. Tiered cakes to go, candles, locally made birthday cards and candle packs. They even have some body sugar scrubs for sale and dog treats. I’m sure I’m missing things. It’s very welcoming and modern. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. Lots of parking and indoor or outdoor seating.
