This place is so nice, the food is so pretty and the service is so weak. I waited an hour for my cocktail and still didn’t get it, I asked to cancel it so I can go to El Camino to get my favorite margaritas… it wasn’t busy because my server was just talking or resetting tables. Nobody asked me or my girlfriend how our meal was or if we needed anything else, until we were just looking around after our entre, so then she came and asked if we wanted desert and we said no and just asked for the bill. If I come back maybe I will just get it to go because the food is really good.

I will definitely come back ! The service was great ! The food came out quick and the waiter was very helpful on what items to choose from the menu. This has to be one of the best sushi sake experience I have ever had . Definitely would recommend checking these guys out when you visiting las olas .

Had better Japanese themed food… place has good ambiance and crew is great. But the food “may be the one which we ordered “ did not live up to the expectations

If I could give them zero stars I would! I went here for the convenience that it is literally right next door to my job. But will not be back. The portions are laughable for the price they charge and the food is lacking in flavor. You’re better off ordering from SKY THAI right down the road, for the same price you get bigger portions, way better tasting food and a little appetizer. Never coming back to Sushi Sake again!!!!! It’s disgusting that they would see it fit to charge $24 for this lackluster food.

Had a great experience here the other night. Sat down at the bar and chatted with the sushi chef. Not enough people do this. Calvin was great. I let him pick my order for me and he didn’t dissapoint. All ingredients were fresh, seasoned well, and beautifully presented. I was clearly a bit inebriated but that didn’t stop Calvin from busting out the sushi boat for a fine patron such as myself. 10/10 recommend.

I stopped in here for the first time for an early lunch on the way to take care of some business. There was only one other person when I got there just after they opened at 11 AM. I first tried the salmon truffle nigiri, which gave a nice accent to sushi rolls, which are typically sweet, so this was a good contrasting flavor to start with. It was four pieces and very tasty. Next I tried the Gabriel roll which was softshell crab. It was 10 pieces and excellent as well. The place started filling up quickly with the lunch crowd as well as a bunch of people picking up takeout so it’s obviously a popular local place. Parking in front was very limited, but there is a public parking garage right around the corner And cost of parking for the lunch was about 4 1/2 dollars. I’ll include some pictures of the menu and the specials. I highly recommend this location

We really wanted to like this place, but it was an expensive disappointment. Our $40 Land N Sea hibachi was dry, over cooked, and just plain sad. The $29 “plate” of Steak Noodles was barely 5oz of meat and over cooked. Honestly, I feel like I was ripped off.

BEST SUSHI IVE HAD IN A WHILE. The food was outstanding and everything was perfectly made. I mean not only was the sushi presented beautifully but it was made perfectly to where the roll just melts in your mouth! The shrimp-fried rice was also incredibly tasty even the shrimp was fried just perfectly. Ordered it to go and the to go boxes were prepared so nicely and I just cant complain with anything that I ordered from here thats how good Sushi Sake is! ONE MORE THING THE BAGS ARE SO MODERNLY DESIGNED LIKE HOW CUTE IS THIS PLACE!! (cherry blossoms and all!)

The food was amazing. It was tasty and flavorful. The passion fruit sake drink was delicious, it’s worth a try. Tried the Angel and Tiger roll. “OMG” the Tempura Ice Cream. I will definitely be back for a second round.

After a disappointing initial experience at Sushi Sake, we were invited here again and I’m glad to say that our dinner was much better. Tristan took great care of us with attentive service and the food came quickly and with generous portions. The sushi was tasty, especially with asparagus, and the Thai donuts in condensed milk are a real treat.
